If I take a break from restoration and pierce my frenulum, after I am done healing from the piercing and remove the jewelry to continue restoring the foreskin, would the piercing opening end up being stretched or enlarged?

sounds like good question.
if you did that, wouldn't the frenum heal up while you were restoring?
or are you gonna alternate between tug / jewelery?
or are you gonna go up to BIG gauge so it stays open long term to forever?

It is a good question. I think you're risking two outcomes, enlargement of piercing holes, and relocation of piercing to a spot you might prefer not to have it.
Why not wait to pierce until after you're completely done restoring? Then you'll know the "lay of the land" so to speak....

I understand the issue, because I had a frenulum piercing for years before starting restoration. I've taken it out for now, mainly because the ring is interfering with the new skin when I try to get assisted coverage of the glans. Without the ring, it goes much easier.
But your question is more about stretching of the hole during restoration. Here, I tend to agree with the advice that you wait with the piercing till you advance in your restoration, otherwise I think the hole is defionitely going to get very large, as the frenulm stretches.
Another thought: when you finally restore, you might prefer another piercing. Either way, I'd recommend waiting.
Good luck.

I got impatient with my restoration progress (and busy and whatever) and during my off time I decided to pierce my frenulum ( you can see it in my progress gallery). I tried to start restoring again with the ring but it was always painful. I recently had the great of replacing the ring with a barbell and have been restoring again on a regular basis... and I LOVE my piercing!

I got my frenulum pierced even before i started tugging. It does not stretch the hole or something this way, just have to remove my ring and put it back in when i am done.
