I'm sorry but I've been switching channels when I suddenly saw this on one of the news channels. (ערוץ 10 לישראלים) (Channel 10 for those who know it)

I've watched about 3-4 minutes before it was over, missed the beginning.

anyway, it was something about an Israeli laboratory breakthrough working with stem cells and they can make replacement tissues for skin. They mentioned:

"Imagine.. an infinite supply of organs, skin and other tissues".

If someone finds any articles on this please post them either here or on the Press section.

Edit1: I've found some articles online, from 4 and 5 days ago, it seems the news are about a few days old, anyway as it seems this was done in Hadassah hospital.

Won't it be wild when the news comes that the first stem-cell derived foreskin has been implanted in Israel.

Do you really think that would happen? Jewish culture is SO anti-foreskin. I mean that goes without saying, right? But it really is true, I would know. At least, that is certainly how it is with the Jewish people that I know/am related to. I'm not trying to question it or say it's impossible — basically, I'm just agreeing with you — it sure would be a wild, strange twist of irony…

I think the love of money (for anyone - not just Jews) supersedes their hatred of foreskin. ;)

Maybe. I remember reading, though, that some medieval rabbi said something like, “the entire foundation of the universe, space, shining throughout the universe to give its light to all the creatures who inhabit the universe, is based on circumcision of the flesh”. Or some craziness like that. Again, I'm paraphrasing from (admittedly hazy) memory of something I think I read at some point, but, the only point I'm trying to make is…cultural traditions like this are really ingrained, especially in…well, very traditional cultures (read: Middle East, US, etc). So I kind of feel like it would be a toss-up. Humans do love money a lot, but I think sometimes they love carrying on stupid cultural traditions more (because dammit, that's the way my daddy did it, that's the way we've always done it, and I'll be damned if we're gonna stop now just because we finally figured out it's “morally wrong”!).

As ironic it would be as people've already pointed out, I'd say it would pay back the dept. Jewish religion/culture is the oldest thing I believe we know today that supports it, so pretty much all cases of male circumcision goes back to this shitty barbaric religion/culture. I know Islam and Orthodox Christianity got if from there.

I'm not seeing where in the opening post it mentions the goal has to do anything with regenerating foreskin, so even if they do use it it obviously won't be tested for foreskins on their end. They're against it. They'd sell the technology of course as they're greedy bastards (same reason they even push circumcision; it's for money to the most-likely Jewish surgeon) but with foreskin-regeneration in their minds? That's like shouting to the Israeli government (which is religion-controlled) that they're infidels. Not gonna work.
