OK, so I made this picture and made it my avatar.
A couple of months later today, I get it deleted, and a letter from MySpace telling me that they deleted it because it was sexually explicit, nude, and/or violent in nature.
I'll let you guys be the judge.

technically it was nude, while it was not explicitly so, MySpace has had to become quite prudish in nature due to criticism.
you could draw one up of the male symbol and work with that

Technically there is no flesh, sex or violence.
Methinks a pro-circ, or a group of PRO-CIRCS worked together to report my image to get it deleted.

To me it doesn't necessarily say anything about circumcision. It looks like a guy with his penis sliced off.

Somebody else commented that he thought it looked like an cut off umbilical cord.
At any rate, I think the circumcision becomes more obvious in the context of reading the content on my profile.
I feel the picture must have hit home for some people and wanted it shut down lest other people clicked on my profile and read into what I had to say.
I've gotten some condolences from other profile keepers, IE, people promoting breast feeding and harmful vaccine awareness. They tell me that they've had some of their pictures deleted and/or threats to have their profiles shut down for being "sexually explicit, nudity, and/or violent."
Perhaps there are some pictures that need to be sensored out there, but this?
Really?
The excuse is that there are 14-yo out there.
What kind of parents just let their kids browse on the internet and get myspace accounts at 14? Who's monitoring the children, and is it MySpace's job to do so?
Right now they're deleting pictures. Next they'll start deleting accounts based on "content," in and of itself.
Better look out, Ron. Promoting restoration on MySpace might be thought of "sexually explicit" by some. It would be "inappropriate" for those younger viewers.
I think that due to the events in the past, what with perverts hooking up with young girls and all, not to mention people that have gone missing etc., perhaps MySpace has the right idea. But the line has to be drawn somewhere.
My site isn't even about sex, nudity and/or violence, and I got threat to be shut down if I "keep violating regulations." What regulation did I violate? Who reported me? How was my picture "inappropriate?" There wasn't even a "reply" option so I could challenge what they did to me. I wrote to "MySpace" help and complained, but this really sucks. All it takes is for a group of people to report you as "inappropriate" and they could take down your site.
I think this needs to be challenged. I hope there are people out there doing so...
