2007 Winner for best video Headless Jason is a gifted vocalist who performed a parody of Stevie Wonder's Superstition to decry his own botched ritual circumcision. He donated his cash prize to the Ron Paul US presidential campaign because he feels Paul is the most foreskin-friendly contender.
2007 Winner for best video (tragedy) Brian (aka PainfulQuestioning) submitted "A Mother's View" which made a simple compelling case for intactness aimed at expecting parents. He took his prize in TLC gear.
2007 Winner for Best Original Song goes by the name Squirrel. He took his prize (uncontested) in TLC Gear.
2007 Winner for Song Parody was It's Beautiful, set to You're Beautiful by James Blount.
2007 Winner for Parody Lyrics was Sigi, who donated his winnings to NoCirc.org. He submitted a Bob Dylan parody "With God on their Side."
2007 Winners for Best Poem were Birthright Reclamation by Rosie and An American Obscenity by Nicole. They took their winnings in TLC apparel and cash.
2007 Winner for Previously Published work was YouTube user Intactivist1, who submitted "Mother Sobs Upon Seeing Circumcision Wound" from the final scenes in the documentary Cutting With Tradition. It will break your heart.
Note some of the entrants for 2007 must have changed their e-mail addresses. If you entered and haven't received your entry gift you'll need to contact me at TLCTugger@Juno.com.
Thanks to all the entrants and congratulations to our talented winners. We hope to again have professional film director and musician Greg Popp to judge the 2008 entries. We're happy to help if anyone needs assistance with production issues. We look forward to your entry. Spread the word.
Good Luck,
Ron and Alice Low
