View Full Version : Gay man considering restoring.

Hi Everyone! I just registered here and this is my first post. Here is my story.

I am a 33 year old Jewish gay man from New York City. I was circumcised at birth and didn't give it much thought until I began to discover European porn and all the uncut dicks it showed, maybe about fifteen years ago. Once I experienced an uncut dick in person around that age (20 or so) I was hooked - uncut cock was definitely a fetish, especially big ones. The way it looks, the way the skin glides over the head when hard, gives me a rush and totally sends me over the edge. Even the pictures shown on foreskin restoration sites turn me on, I'll admit it. Anyway, I wasn't exactly uninterested in cut dick, but it definitely didn't give me the same feeling the appearance of an uncut one did. The funny part is that I'm totally not interested in anal sex, giving or receiving. I only like oral and masturbation. And even if I were into anal (the vast majority of gay men are), I'd be using a condom nearly 100% of the time. I've never bottomed before and I don't foresee it happening, but never say never. However I do top from time to time, mostly for the benefit of a partner I care deeply about (or find extremely hot!). Obviously using a condom would negate any effects of restoring. However if I do restore, and have a long term, 100% monogamous partner, I could see topping him with my restored dick as a potential benefit sometime in the future if we agree to not use condoms. I'm still on the fence with that concept, though, even if I do trust my partner. After all, it's my life that we're talking about.

But I digress! I didn't know that you could restore your foreskin until only a few days ago. After one of my better porn sessions, I randomly googled "undo circumcision" and was shocked at what I found. Could I actually be "uncut?" Imagine, the one thing in sex that drives you crazy, and imagine you could have this quality on your own body! It felt like I had just won the lottery. I never knew I could come close to feeling what uncut guys feel when they masturbate. I had fantasized about being able to perform the gliding action over my glans while completely erect. Had no idea it was actually possible. One day last year I was fooling around with a buddy in Holland whose dick I absolutely worship and he commented about the hair that grows on my shaft. I thought it was totally normal and thought nothing of it. After reading Ron's paper on his website, I discovered why the hair grows there - from years of circumcised erections, scrotal skin/tissue migrates to the lower part of the shaft. This angered me! After all, who the hell wants hair on their dick? I trim quite regularly, but still.

So I'm considering doing this. I'd say I have something between a CI-1 and a CI-2. I believe my circ is just a bit loose, and there is just a little bit of extra skin around the corona. I saw that using the Your-Skin Restoration Cone is a good way of starting out before tugging. Is that correct? But I have some questions.

- How long should I use the cone before beginning tugging? Or more specifically, how much skin should restore before tugging? I am able to tuck my glans under the skin, but there isn't much of a penis to look at. All you really see is a hairy nub. Looks pretty gross and unappealing, lol! I would suspect that if I'm wearing the cone to bed, it will pop right off upon a spontaneous erection. But I can't say to be sure. My erect penis is a little larger than average - I'd say about 6.5 inches, but when soft it's quite average-to-small. I'm a grower. Does using the Your-Skin Restoration Cone restore skin at all? Or does it only act to cover the glans?

- Once my glans becomes soft and shiny again but there isn't yet enough foreskin to completely cover it while flaccid, what can be done to protect my new sensitive glans from over stimulation during the day? Will I have to use the cone 100% of the time while clothed and not tugging?

- What about sex during the restoration process? Anything to be aware of? Again, I really only engage in oral and manual sex. Does receiving oral sex for restored guys increase the quality of experience that much? One thing I can think of is the smell of the equipment might be a turn off to my partner who wants to give me oral sex. Yes I can take it off in a hurry in private, but when I come back and he's down there, I'll bet he'll be able to smell the rubber/silicone device that was just there.

- I'm a bit of a leaker. After peeing, I have to milk the shaft a few times to make sure every drop is gone. I hate the feeling of that last drop of piss in my underwear after using the bathroom. Also, after ejaculating, I always have a little extra come out within fifteen minutes. If I'm at home, I usually keep an extra tissue handy to milk the rest out well after I'm finished. If I don't catch it, again it's annoying to feel the moisture hit my underwear. This concerns me if using a cone. It sounds unsanitary if anything gets trapped between my penis and the cone.

- I work out regularly, going to the gym 3-5 times a week. I would imagine that the elastics could get in the way of this? Or are the elastics now obsolete now that the TLC-X provides strapless tugging? Or is even that wrong? Again, I'm a total newbie with this, having discovered foreskin restoration less than a week ago. But as you can see from the length of this post I am becoming quite serious about all this.

I have been single for almost three years. My last boyfriend was cut but I was very much into him physically. This is beyond the scope of this post, but I have been considering getting back in touch with him. As I have learned so much over the past few days exactly what is taken from circumcised guys, I'm turned off even more by cut dick, especially the way a cut glans looks. Amazingly (and maybe perhaps a bit superficial of me), this newfound knowledge is giving me second thoughts about wanting to start back up with him. As it happens I have started to date someone new over the past few weeks and it's actually going pretty well. He is uncut (yay!) and seems supportive about me trying to restore my foreskin. I told him about all this the day I discovered it and I didn't detect any problem with it.

Alright, this has gotten quite long, but I'm glad I got it all out. I haven't found any gay support groups for restoring men. Are there any out there? Any additional thoughts, responses, anything.. I'm all ears. Thanks!

The cone just lets you cover your glans with your existing skin so you regain sensitivity. You need to apply tension to your skin to restore. You may want to start out with manual tugging. I use the second method from this site: <http://pages.suddenlink.net/manual_methods/home.html>. Others recommend starting out with tape.

I recently started restoring and I am using manual tugging until I have enough skin to use a tugger. I am waiting a bit before I start trying to regain sensitivity because I don't want the hassle of trying to keep the glans covered to protect it.

I can point you to a great source of online info per your last question. NORM.org is one of the (probably "the") oldest and best known groups in support of restoring men. Links to that site plus other sites, groups, forums etc. can be found on the same site where we purchase TLC equipment: http://tlctugger.com/resources.htm

Thanks for your story, and welcome.

Hi,
These are questions which would fit well in the general restoring section of the forum or the method-specific sections. But since they're here:

>> How long should I use the cone before beginning tugging? Or more specifically, how much skin should I restore before tugging? I am able to tuck my glans under the skin, but there isn't much of a penis to look at. <<

If you have the slack to hide your glans when flaccid, you should be able to use any tapeless method just fine. There's no waiting.

>> if I'm wearing the cone to bed, it will pop right off upon a spontaneous erection? <<

Maybe. Less so as time goes by. I was getting through most nights with the Your-Skin Cone in place after a few months. TLC Tugger offers a 90-day no-questions-asked refund policy in case you decide it's not for you.

>> Does using the Your-Skin Restoration Cone restore skin at all? Or does it only act to cover the glans? <<

Gentle tension will grow new skin. Some guys have used packing methods like the Your-Skin Cone to restore (at least for a while until they had some appreciable new slack) but whether it would do much growing for you is doubtful since you describe a situation where your flaccid shaft provides very little pushback on your skin.

>> what can be done to protect my new sensitive glans from over stimulation during the day? <<

Wear at least the retaining cone 24/7, including while clothed and not tugging.

>> Does receiving oral sex for restored guys increase the quality of experience that much? <<

In my case, HELL yes. My wife could never finish me orally before I restored.

>> I can take it off in a hurry in private, but when I come back and he's down there, I'll bet he'll be able to smell the rubber/silicone device that was just there. <<

Smell through a condom? Wow, that's a good nose! (Let's play safe).

Actually the latex-free food-grade silicone rubber has no smell, but restoring will probably give *you* a more natural scent. This is because as skin cells slough off (your body normally loses like 1000 skin cells every minute 24/7) they don't go anywhere once you're covered all the time. Wash daily and you'll never really "see" any kind of accumulation. If you want to be unnaturally squeaky clean, just wash daily with soap. You can also go out with your skin NOT retained over the glans, but you'll be fixated on the sensation to your ticklish glans all evening.

>> I hate the feeling of that last drop of piss in my underwear after using the bathroom. <<

So like you said, stand there and milk those drops and shake to your satisfaction.

>> It sounds unsanitary if anything gets trapped between my penis and the cone <<

Just like vaginas, foreskins normally have secretions in them. If you don't like them there, you wash them away. How obsessive you are about it is a personal choice. I like to conform to society's sick fixation on lack of smell, so I use Cetaphil gentle non-soap liquid skin cleanser in the shower every morning. I wash off after sex, and don't generally try to be dressed within a few minutes. With or without foreskin, a penis will of course ooze jizz for a while after ejaculation.

>> I would imagine that the elastics could get in the way of {working out} <<

You could probably work out with the TLC-X on in strapless mode. You could also wear just the Your-Skin Cone in briefs.

>> are the elastics now obsolete, now that the TLC-X provides strapless tugging? <<

No, you should use strapping as often as possible. I got my results chiefly before there was a TLC-X so I have no first-hand success from using a method that pushes on the glans. My feeling is that pressure on the glans should be kept to a minimum, but other pushing devices have been around for years.

That said, I LOVE wearing my TLC-X with shorts. It has totally gotten me excited about restoring again. I want to see what more I can grow. Good device fit is important, and I'm getting better at fitting the TLC-X's Pusher to the user. Supply your glans width (flaccid and erect) and the "percent of your glans you can force skin over while erect" to me after placing an order.

>> I'm a total newbie with this, having discovered foreskin restoration less than a week ago <<

Sorry you're reeling from the news, but it's good news.

>> this newfound knowledge is giving me second thoughts about wanting to start back up with {my cut ex}. <<

That's a shame. I would hope you could discuss it with him without making him feel un-beautiful.

>> I told {my intact love interest} about all this the day I discovered it and I didn't detect any problem with it. <<

Who could have a problem with an amputee trying to make the best of his situation?

>> I haven't found any gay support groups for restoring men. Are there any out there? <<

I'd like to think we're supportive for everyone. I know restoreforeskin.org has lots of sub-groups including a straights section.

Do look through the forum sections here for the best place to post specific questions. If I get a surge of interest in a gay-only section, I guess we could make one.

I recently sent a demographic survey to 200 recent customers with 40 responses. 25% self-reported as gay. I didn't calculate confidence intervals. I'm doing a large-scale version of the survey in a couple weeks.

Cheers,

I can point you to a great source of online info per your last question. NORM.org is one of the (probably "the") oldest and best known groups in support of restoring men.

It's certainly the best known, but not the oldest. Back in the 80s there was a group called Brothers United for Future Foreskins, also known as BUFF, that circulated info about foreskin restoration. Two of the men using their methods decided to form a support group, which eventually came to be known as NORM.

And for Payload, I would recommend contacting the guy who's running the NYC chapter. He actually just recently formed the group there, and I'm sure he'd welcome anyone interested in meetings.

Thanks for all your advice everyone, especially you, Ron! The personal time you put into this forum and your products is very impressive. I'm sorry they didn't pick you on Howard Stern! Funny clip nonetheless. Fred was a jerk to bash you like that after you left. I used to be a big fan of the show.

Anyway, I just posted my "before" pics to show what I was talking about:
http://www.foreskin-restoration.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1347
(it's not making a hyperlink and i don't know how)

You can see what I meant about being able to forcibly cover the glans but not being much shaft left over. Now that you can see some pics, any recommendations where to start? Ron, you mentioned that there is no need to start with the Your Skin cone given that I have a little slack already. Do you still think so after viewing my pics? If this should be posted (or moved) to the general discussion forum let me know and I'll repost.

I would say that I'm in the same boat as you in many respects (gay and all). I also have about the same amount of skin as you do. I think you have enough skin to use whatever device you choose.

i was under the impression that the cone does not make the skin grow - gentle tugging does. the cone covers the glans.

The Your-Skin Cone retains the skin over the glans.
