Congratulations, Hugh for having a rebuttal to Ferguson printed in the journal Pediatrics.

It is refreshing to see the retraction filed by the study authors: "To make our position on this matter clear, our views coincide closely with those of the American Academy of Pediatrics, that the evidence as it stands currently is not sufficiently compelling to advocate routine circumcision, and that this should be a parental decision"

It is unfortunate that medical experts can't keep their traps shut about issues outside of their realm. Having said there is no medical evidence to justify routine circ, the only possible reason for adding "this should be a parental decision" is to justify routine circ and keep the billings rolling in.
