Hello everyone,
So I started restoring maybe 10 years ago. But for some reason stopped. Yes I know if I had continued at the time I would be done by now.
Anyway I decided that I am going to start again. I previously used the tug-ahoy, but don't want to go with that, not to mention the cost.
I'm like the bi-directional abilities of the cat-II and the TLC-X. Has anyone tried both of these and which they like better? Also with the TLC-X is it also a tugger? b/c it looks like it is possible with a TLC-X, but doesn't look like it is with the cat-II.
The other question I have is how effective is the TLC-X without tugging? compared to just straight tugging? etc.

Thank you very much,
Jetfire

Welcome! :D

When I bought my TLC-X I also bought two straps for use with the TLC-X as a tugger. The TLC-X is just like the TLC tugger, but just a bit smaller. The TLC-X works both as a tugger and a self-contained device.

Hi,
The TLC-X is great as a Tugger. In fact some guys cut REALLY tight use it strictly with straps - without the center Rod and Pusher section - at first, because it takes less slack to get a good grip that way.

You can tug with the CAT, too. I think a key-ring sized loop is included to run through the end of the center mast.

I think what distinguishes the TLC-X:
- Soft food-grade latex-free silicone
- narrowest tapered device available for tightly puckered result
- interchangable Pushers to give maximum control over your skin's roll-over point
- full-year warranty and 3-month no-questions-asked refund policy
- dedicated user group, e-mail, and phone support

Cheers,
-Ron

Thank you for answering my post. Nice to hear a little more about the TLC-X that I didn't see on the website.
