Hi,
>> I currently use your packers and a Stretch 8 Tugger. I use the smaller YS Cone which I originally ordered for use with the packers. Is the smaller YS cone OK to use with the Stretch 8 as well? <<

It should be. They're the same diameter. But the RC-10 fits them well, too.

>> Reason I ask is because it pinches more than I remember the X pinching when I used it as a tugger <<

I would suggest it might have to do with the fact that it's a lot easier to get a good even wrinkle-free skin application when there is a Tugging handle. With the Packer, I tend to more just shove the skin up and hope for the best.

>> my skin is on the thicker side too so that could be part of it <<

Sure. At the bse of the retaining cone there could be a pinch point if your skin is so thick that the cone doesn't reach past the end of the sloped part of the Packer.

>> for someone that is a true CI3, is the TLC Stretch 8 too aggressive? I dont get the "lift off" as often as I did when I Tugged using the X <<

That's probably OK, it means you're getting additional inner tension. To increase the likelihood of lift-off, start while fully flaccid and roll as much outer skin from the shaft as you can onto the Tugger.

>> I wondered if I would be getting more effective tug if I stuck with a standard TLC til I was a CI4 or 5 then switched to the Stretch 8. <<

I do think that's what I did.

>> do you have an opinion on the effectiveness of the packers compared to tugging with the TLC. Another words, generally speaking is using a properly tensioned Packer about half as effective as actually tugging with a TLC? <<

I really don't know. I Tugged, and I haven't heard any well-documented progress from guys strictly using the Packers. I do know if you're adding about 1/2" of Packing per year, you're making good progress.

I Tug when I can. Pack (or TLC-X strapless) when I can't, and always wear at least the Your-Skin Cone.

Cheers,
