View Full Version : Skin IS the thing...

I had a revelation today that the extra skin created by restoring gets around 80-90% of the way to the sexual pleasure of the foreskin.
I know, I know... "how can I know that."
And yes, my 'evidence' is purely anecdotal, but I was 'talking' to someone on a totally unrelated internet forum. It's a big, goofy forum where people talk about tons of shit, and the topic of circ often comes up (usually anonymously prompted by me).
Anyway, this one uncut guy was talking about sex and he said his foreskin itself wasn't that sensitive, that the rolling motion of the skin was the most pleasurable thing about it.
I'm starting to think that all these specialized structures we talk about in the "lost list" are great, fuck I'd love to have mine back, but ultimately, they are relatively subtle things.
The rolling skin motion is the big deal, together with the skin protection angle.
I truly believe substantial restoration of the skin tube delivers nearly all the pleasure possible an intact foreskin delivers.

I agree slinky skin is huge. I wouldn't try to put a number to it, though, in terms of what percent of "intact" we can attain.

Of course I agree totally. I've talked about this so often I will spare you guys the long, boring reply this time. The lost list is valid, but at the same time waaayy overblown. The most pleasurable aspect from restoring I have discovered so far is the gliding of the skin during sex. Without gliding, sex is a 5 or 6. With the gliding, sex shoots up to a 10. Once I have grown enough skin to have gliding every time I have sex I will probably be done. Right now it just depends on my hardness and my wife's tightness and lubrication. The most damaging aspects of circumcision, in my opinion, is the loss of the nerves in the tissue that is removed and the loss of skin mobility. Both can be recovered through restoration.

Hey, that's great to know!
I got depressed reading all those lost things.
I'm glad restoration is so helpful!

Well, a little cold water on the issue: if you've lost most of your inner mucosa, and virtually all of us have (there are a lucky minority who where left a fair amount of it, even though circumcised) then you have lost the numero uno on the lost list.
It's the mucosa that has all the pleasure-type nerve endings. There is more to penile pleasure than that, of course, but it's THIS tissue that plays the primary part.
So when you ask your questions, you have to take into account that most of the answers you hear from circumcised guys come from a less-than-first -hand position, so their answers will reflect what feels best to them, not necessarily what WOULD have felt best if everything on the lost list wasn't lost.
Not everybody thinks this through. I encourage you to do so.

To pour a little bit of HOT water on the issue... :-D
It sounds like there is variation in "what is the most sensitive part of the penis," even among intact males.
I think you can get an overall general idea from the Sorrells studies though, because they map like 18 or so different parts of the penis.
http://www.nocirc.org/touch-test/bju_6685.pdf
As for me, I'd have to say that my most sensitive part is the mucosa that folds over my shaft when I'm erect.
But who says that we all have to have the exact same sensitive areas? Are restorers actually aiming to have the exact same sensitive areas as intact males are? I think this may or may not be possible on a case by case basis, as each man's circumcision is different.
But instead of trying to "match" this or that person, why not develop your own sensitive areas as restorers? If the sensitivity increases, what does it matter that it doesn't happen at the exact same place as most intact guys?
What's wrong with just enjoying the increased sensations as they happen?

Not OP.
That was uncalled for...
The fact that he is uncut gives restorers something to measure against, in terms of what is most important/not important. Since, obviously none of us can know what intact sensitivity is like, at least we can ask questions from someone who is... I'm sorry to hear you don't have as much of a problem solving attitude as you do a defensive one.

...I'm pretty sure Joseph was offering a positive thought to guys that have lost this or that. Saying that not every penis has the same "most pleasurable" areas, so that just because you've lost a part that one man claims is the best, that may not be the most pleasurable part on YOUR penis.
I have an inch of mucosa on top, and almost two inches on the sides and under, but the most pleasurable part for me is along the thin line of the frenulum's remnants. The mucosa I have on top isn't particularly sensitive or pleasurable, even though it is quite obviously mucosa. Yes, it feels good, but its not much compared to my frenulum remnant's area.

Dude, seriously, wtf is your problem? You have one of the worst shticks I've ever seen on the Internet, for real.
Yay, you're uncut on a restoration website. I think you somehow think that gives you the last word on any discussion here.
Fact is, dude, if I lost my entire cock in an unfortunate wartime incident, I'd still be cooler than you.
And btw, Cobra fucking owns you in every discussion you have. No, I'm not Cobra.
Be great if you could shut the f**k up, ok?
Um, unregistered? You know, if you actually had the gumption to create a screen name in here, there's an option to ignore me if you want.
This is a free forum, and if you don't like it, you can always ignore me, or just stay away if I hurt your poor fragile feelings.
You're a fucking bitter prick if you think I'm here to try to show off or use my intact position to "try and have the last word." I've already been over this with cobra and Tao. If you think I'm here to show off, you're bitter and you've got more problems than just a missing foreskin.
By the way, fight your own battles. No, Cobra doesn't "own" me, ever. But you can keep thinking that if it makes you feel better.
I'll keep talking as much as I want, thanks.

Our unregistered guest is not a prick because a prick is the best part of a man, which he is not. Keep posting Joseph, I may not agree with you all the time but I do read all your posts.

Oh dear... why do I keep getting pulled into the middle of things...? :o
Everybody is right, kind of.
Not everybody thinks this through. I encourage you to do so.
Distalero, can you actually leave a post without implying everyone else is stupid? Most of the things you say, while correct, are kind of a given. Of course, if someone were missing-- for example-- their frenelum, then for that person, a frenelum would not be the most sensitive spot on their penis.
All our answers are going to reflect our own personal viewpoint. Case in point: even yours-- as you must obviously be missing a fren if you think the inner mucosa is the most sensitive area. I have a frenelum and about 2 inches of inner mucosa. The fren hits an 8 on the Pleasure-Tron, the inner mucosa only goes up to about a 6. The most pleasurable aspect of restoring to me is gliding. Gliding hits a 9 and full body orgasm ranks a 10. But that's me... and kind of your point, too... ;)
By the way, fight your own battles. No, Cobra doesn't "own" me, ever. But you can keep thinking that if it makes you feel better.
Stop fighting it, Joseph. I owned you. You know I owned you. Everybody here knows I owned you. I owned you so hard your kids are going to feel owned. Once, you thought I didn't own you, but then... aw, man, just kidding. You have some kind of talent at inadvertently pissing people off, don't you?
If you think about it, sexual pleasure is kind of a synergistic combination of mental arousal, neural stimulation and all sorts of chemical, hormonal and involuntary muscular reactions. Part of the enhanced pleasure we get from restoring is mental-- feeling more whole, more confident, more manly-- and that's a big deal. Part of the enhanced pleasure we get is from having a more natural physical penis. It was designed to work a certain way and by returning it to its natural state, or a close approximate of that state, we make it function physically better. You can point out this part or that part, fren, inner mucosa, ridged band, analyzing them separately and bemoaning the loss of this part or that part, but I really believe that, on the physical side of things, its the mobility of the skin that plays the greatest role in enhancing pleasure, because you have your glans, your fren, your inner skin, and they all have their certain sensations, but when you have the mobile skin you can squish all those parts together and stimulate them all at once, and then its not just inner foreskin, fren, glans, it becomes some greater combined feeling, called MOBILESKININNERMUCOSAGLANSFREN and that's something that cannot be experienced when you are circumcised and all those things are stunted, dried out and held separate by tight, immobile skin. You have to be able to squish them together and rub them together to enjoy them to the fullest.
But then sometimes I just like to finger my frenelum.
:D

You're just that popular, cobra. ;)

No, you DON'T own me, you only THINK you own me. You...
Well... I GUESS you own me... maybe... but only just a little. :o
But I will not have some unregistered NOBODY try to vicariously own me through you. If someone owns me, it's because they did the work THEMSELVES.
cobra, I'm gladly yours. :D
PS - I'm not sure who said it, but I read somewhere that possibly the most strongest and most sensitive organ is the brain. (But then again, I've also read elsewhere that men think with their dicks... so...)
