View Full Version : Underwear Fly

So how many of you use your underwear fly?
Let me rephrase the question: how many of you use underwear with flies, AND if you do, do you use it?
Some people tell me they like to use boxers because they like the loose, relaxed feel. Others tell me they go commando.
Me, myself, I like to find things right where I leave them, so I'm a briefs guy. I find with boxers I'm constantly having to reach down there and arrange things. Like when my flaccid shaft and/or sac goes down one of the boxers' pant legs etc. With briefs I feel a lot better, since my equipment is kept in place, and it doesn't rub past my legs creating sweat and itch. (At least in my experience.)
Today I had a relevant experience: flies in underwear are pointless! (at least or me) So I need to wee and I go to the restroom, and I thought I'd do something different. Why not pull me langar out both the underwear and pant flies? I mean, they're THERE, might as well use 'em right?
WRONG!!! What a pain in the arse! It's quite easy to work my way through the pant and underwear flies, it's pulling maself out where I was having a time. I was wriggling and dancing to be at the right angle to pull it out. I had to stick my arse out to create a cavity between my underwear and my crotch, otherwise my equipment lies flat against the inner flap of the fly and I can't pull me out.
Alright, so I finally manage to pull it through and I'm relieved of both the anxiety of wanting to wee and the frustration of not being able to get it out so close to the urinal! I do my business, and it's time to put Jr. away. What a pain to stuff my flaccid organ back into both flies! As I mentioned, since my privates ride against the inner fly, I have to suck in air and stick out my arse to create enough room in my underwear to open the fly and pull them out. The opposite is also true, where they won't go back in until I do the same thing. And what a pain to stuff them back in! It's enough that I have to stick it back in my underwear; I also feel the scratch of cold zipper teeth!
To get right to the point I had to undo my belt and pants to fix myself back just the way I wanted.
And then I remembered why I almost never use the fly. I always unzip my trousers and pull the underwear elastic down. Even when I'm walking around in my underwear at home, I always just pull it out from the top and never out the fly. When I'm done I pull my underwear up and just like magic, my organs fall right how I want them to. I like to ride with the shaft up and my nuts supported by the front, away from my legs. I've tried to use the fly when walking around in just my underwear, but I always end up having to pull outward on the elastic to get myself back through the fly.
Really, what is the fly there for? Aesthetic? A remnant from an earlier time? I can't help but think, what a useless hole!
EDIT: Sometimes, just for the hell of it, I pull my entire cock and balls through the fly to annoy my GF. It's interesting and it's an entirely different sensation to be hard and have my cock and balls out choked by the fly. It's only fun and interesting for a little while, as the choke of the fly starts to irritate, and when I want to take off my underwear, it's even a harder time (no pun intended) taking them off with an erection. Even for PLAY it gets old.

If I'm wearing boxers, I use the fly. With briefs or boxer briefs, its just a pain in the ass.

Why do women act like you're calling them a cheap whore if you pull your dick and balls through the fly and want some action. My wife gets annoyed by that too. I think underwear is sexy. I like to pull her panties to one side of her puss or down just past her butt and pretend I'm getting it on the sly. Hmm, maybe that's why.
I usually pee over the top of the underwear, not through the fly... My dick rides in the down-right position. I wear boxers and boxer briefs. Tightie whities lower your sperm count. You know that, right?
Back when I was a kid and still wore tightie whities, I saw my older big dick cousin get dressed and put his dick pointing up, so for a while I tried to do the same, but mine just kept sliding back down. Not enough dick, I guess.

For underwear flys I use Raid or some other insecticide.:D Seriously Joseph I have used whitey tighties all my life probably due to being circumcised. I don't like my glans banging around. I do use the fly when I'm not tugging. When I'm tugging I have to drop my pants and underwear.

I'd like to become a dad in the future.
I'm fine now though, so the above is GREAT news.

Like some others here, I like briefs because they keep my tally from flopping around. Now that I am growing some skin, my briefs are my retainer during the day.
As for the fly, I think their primary purpose is to allow the front of the briefs to expand elastically. The overlapping cloth allows the front of the briefs to pouch out, particularly when you get a boner. I've got some silk briefs without a fly, and they are uncomfortable because there is not enough room for my tally and balls, and the fabric does not expand.

Hey guys,
I wore tightie whities for a long time. Then I started going with nothing, going commando,as some would call it. It is a lot cooler, really. Its soon to be summertime, let your equipment breathe. Once natural, tightie whities ,will be a thing of the past. -night tug-

It depends on the situation for me. Long pants I use jocky style undies with a fly. I find the fly works well. I have always done this, but now that I am partially restored I find the undies hold my foreskin in place, so it is even better.
Before, when my growing foreskin was shorter, I used thongs. simply because they held things tighter. The I could get away with very tight undies.
If I am wearing shorts or sweat pants, I go commando. Much more comfortable.
And when wearing long pants and restoring, I wear a sheath over my cock. I find that I need something to reduce abrasivenenss on the stretched/tensed skin or it will get irritated. However, since I use an insert, I feel it needs to swing free and stretch out, so undies are a problem. The sheath works great for me. It is simply a part of a sock, with a string to hold it up.
Cheers!

No underwear flies for me.
When I'm tugging I wear boxers or go just commando. When I'm not tugging, I wear a thong to keep my glans pushed in and covered -- a jock strap, tight briefs or compression shorts would work for this too, but I prefer the bare ass feel of a thong. :)

Working on a mixed service military base (including sailors) I avoid anything that can be construed as 'bare-assed' including thongs :eek::eek:

I've just recently moved to boxers and boxer-briefs. I'm finding these a lot more comfortable than my previous briefs.
I've chosen bamboo fibre boxers but don't use the fly - only problem is the drop down effect into jeans that sometimes happens.
With boxer-briefs it is either pull up or pull down to wee.
When at home I prefer a comfortable pair of track pants commando style. I enjoy the freedom and the occasion breeze - especially the rub of my foreskin against the material that 'I can't really feel'.
At night I tend to wear nothing - again enjoying the feeling of nothing.

Briefs... I never got the point of the fly on tighty-whiteys. They are useless and just don't work! Unless, you remove the inner panel to about the center of them, then less crushing support, the fly will actually works.
Boxer fly works great, unzip, pull through both flies, remove retainer, and you're golden. Unless it's hot, or I've had to crawl around too much at work, then they wad up and the fly is GONE, good luck getting that out in a hurry.
Boxer brief, usually no fly, over the top.
Fashion brief (colors and better styles), no fly, over the top. More comfortable and less goofy looking than tightywhiteys.
Thong, no fly, over the top. Best support option in summer, and feels closest to nothing.
Jock, no fly but obscenely huge waistband. usually out a side, then it's a pain to repack. And don't like the random 'something grabbing my ass all day' feeling.
Commando, through fly, over top, out leg, lift kilt... Coolest, but possible sweaty sticking problems
Fully naked...

They really are stupid, I have never really used them, but the few times I have I realized it would be easier to just open the pants up and pull it out.

Heh, main reason I got into restoring was so I could comfortably go commando. I wondered why it hurt to go commando for me and not other guys, did some research, lo and behold as I had suspected for years something wasn't right down there. Soon enough it will be, and I'll be swingin free every chance I get.
Boxer briefs for now, though. Don't want to lose my TLC equipment in the event it comes loose, though it rarely ever does and usually even stays on all night, despite my regular movement. I can even work out without my skin cone coming off.

I use the fly. I've tried to use the 'through the pant leg' method, but that always makes me bend my member in such a way that a little bit of urine gets trapped temporarily and makes a mess when things straighten out again.
I don't know briefs though. I only wear boxers. Briefs always compressed me too much.
Going commando is fun, except I have a tendency to sag sometimes, and I'd really rather not moon anybody.

I know that most do not use the fly but!!!
I have recently rediscovered the "H" fly in both boxerbriefs and briefs. this one actually works easy and well, keeps things in but makes them easily accessible. I have tried this type before and wasn't too keen on them but these are working great, with this fly i actually use it unlike the traditional fly that's too complicated and hard to use. I think more guys would use them if they were like this.

I am not sure but would imagine there are other brands with similar attributes.

It was like that for the first few weeks for me but boxers aren't meant to be worn so high.
Often I just use gym shorts instead and I pee through the leg. Most the time at home naked any way.

a lot of other formats exist. I ordered some briefs http://www.jockey.com/products/h-fly-boxer-brief.
Will post with experiences later. :)

If thats how you normally use a device, I think they would facilitate easier use.

Nah... H-Fly have an opening with back support for only 3 inches. It keeps the junk up, but does not protect it...
The guy that would create a long h-fly would facilitate day-long tugging for generations of happy tuggers? Who's in to create it?
Still, those H-Fly boxers are the most confortable boxers I have now. Would recommend them to anyone wanting support without the felt heat and swet that normally comes with them.

I did use my underwear fly back when Cin-2 made bi-fly briefs, which was a nice fly design. I stopped wearing boxers a long time ago as they always seemed to ride up and not stay in place, it was very awkward. Now I've just stuck with the flyless style sport briefs that Cin-2 makes.
While using my tlc-x, I've been going commando, thus far.

Bi-fly brief? How did it work?
I agree, not a fan of boxers. Better to go commando than wear boxers

I like the H-fly from jockey's midway stretch briefs
that way if my device slips off, it doesn't fall. And keeps it warmer, if it's warmer I belief you'll get better blood circulation. And the H-fly works best for me.

I see a very interesting use for these 'H' fly underwear.
I normally use the waistband of my undies to hold my scrotum in place while tugging down the leg. It sounds a little weird, but if you try it, you'll see it works quite nicely, you get a great stretch on the underside skin of the shaft.
The downside of that is after maybe 10 uses + washes, the waistband of your undies gets a little stretched, and then they don't get very tight around your waist anymore.
It seems like you could use this 'H' fly to tug through, and it would hold your scrotum back, the same way a waistband does. Since I use tape methods, the device falling off never happens, so catching it when it falls is not a concern for me.
I might have to order a pair and try it out.

Used to use the fly as a young boy, now I only do when I'm wearing suits/dress pants.
Any normal casual wear, I simply pull the required equipment above and over both waistbands. I generally wear lower rise/ lower fitting jeans, so my waistband tends to sit just above where the "trunk" of my penis attaches to my abdomen, so this isn't a feat by any means.
Normally I wear boxer-briefs, although occasionally I opt for boxers if I want the excess room.

Most of the time the fly is more of a headache than just pulling the skivvies down from the top. But! the jocky H fly is pretty good and an improvement, I also like the fly on DKNY underwear its at an angle and curved makes for way easier access and replacement of stuff. with normal underwear you almost always get something caught/trapped/bent by the fly which is no fun.
I did look at the link for the bi-fly type but, have never come across those personally so i dunno how those work out.

Having a circumference of 5" soft, it makes it difficult to use the fly for me, so I just pull it over. I wear boxer briefs (only if it's not too warm outside other wise commando)
