Actually, turn it around: "You pay for what you get."

Your pay for it your whole life.

But in larger terms, sometimes I see our circumcisions as a "price" we pay for the general stupidity of life. It's hard to explain, but it's almost like circumcision is a toll we paid to be born into a world of violence, superstition and irrationality.

Marked right there in our most personal flesh are all the fucking sins of mankind.

It's weird because for years I was thankful that religion hadn't gotten me: My parents aren't religious, I'm not, I was never molested by some asshole priest or clergyman... then I learned about circumcision and I was like "FUCK! I KNEW I wasn't gonna escape this shit so easily."

But then there's the phrase, "The best things in life are free."

This is why it's so important to work to end insurance funding of circumcision - if it's offered free to the parents, they'll see it as a good thing.
