I came across this some time ago and I have now found it again. I initially thought it was a joke, but apparently not. This might offer some hope for those of us that would like to see medical science get more involved.
The first link is for the article that got my attention and the second is for the website of the company that is developing the technology. It appears that the artificial skin develops into real skin over time. It's very interesting.
