Wow. So it's day two. After doing a few years of dabbling in esearch, I thought I knew what to expect. I now know, I know nothing.

I recently learned I am a ci 2. Yesterday was difficult. I did not use the extensible rod or a strap, so I guess it was a glorified your skin cone. I went to the bathroom every hour to see if my penis was blue or cold. It wasn't. Lots of vein pushed to the surface. Makes me nervous. It was a little pitchy. A little itchy. Tolerable. Although, my commitment to doing this is already wavering. I obviously have a fear of damaging my penis. I kind of wish Ron was at my house to make sure I'm doing it right.

Application is not as easy as I had expected. I can put the skin up on the cone, but it is a race against time to put the outer cone on and evenness seems to be an impossibility at this point. I have more skin on the bottom than the top.

When I took it off yesterday there were some broken blood vessels. Nothing major. The tension was light, but I have super sensitive skin. I took it off after work.

Today, I tried a little of the extensible rod and am strapped. I feel a little burning and it itches where the hair on my penis shaft rubs against my leg. I wear tighter clothes and boxer briefs. Thankfully, you can't see it. I also live in NYC. So doing a lot of walking is the norm and isn't ideal with it strapped to my leg. I am making less trips to the bathroom to see if my penis is still there, but I am very aware of the tugging.

Is some discomfort normal? I'm not in pain, but when I take it off the skin that was pushed-pulled to the top of the cone is basically a red ring. When it is off, I am a little tingly and it is a little sensitive, but not painful.

Advice? Words of encouragement? Another tutorial? I have seen both Ron's and the other amateur how to. There seems to be substantial tension and weight. I am just trying to make it through the day with light tension and it barely strapped to my leg. And if I am doing this wrong, what is the worst case scenario?

Hi,
Take it easy. How about you wear only the Your-Skin Cone for a week to start, as nervous as you sound?

The strap tension in the main TLC demo video is absurdly tight. In fact, unless you hear me say "this is an example of good tension" please assume the videos are showing the HOW and not the HOW MUCH.

Here is my guideline for tension with any method:
1) Make sure you have a well-fitted device.
2) Start with zero tension.
3) Then adjust tension up by a hair every day until getting through 4 straight hours starts to be a challenge, and back off some.
4) Your night set-up needs to be less aggressive so you can get through 8 hours without a break and withstand nocturnal erections.
5) Test any sleep technique while awake and erect first.

Cheers,
-Ron

add some manual stretching in your routine and be patient. the one i find that works best for me and is easier is getting myself hard, then making an ok sign around my shaft with both hands close together, then pulling towards the head with one hand and towards my body with the other. don't get discouraged because it'll take time. it's only the 2nd day, give it a month and you'll start seeing progress

pirranah is describing Doug's method 2 described and illustrated here (http://pages.suddenlink.net/manual_methods/methods2and3.html) and here (http://www.restoringforeskin.org/public/manual-tugging/method-2).

A common mistake many make when first starting is to be too aggressive in their tugging. Restoration is not a sprint. It takes time to get used to wearing a device and tugging your penis.

I suggest wearing your device for a short time each day, and gradually wearing it longer and longer. As pirranah suggested, you can always also manual tug in between times when you are not wearing the device.
