Hello, I am planning on purchasing a restoration device and begining restoration. I am unsure of what product to get. My main interests are the TLC X (more expensive but more stuff) the Cat II (less expensive) and the DTR (price unknown, anyone know?) I am not tightly cut so I don't think I'll have any problems there. I would like a little more knowledgable advice to go on rather than looks and guessing. Please let me know your recomendations and the pros/cons you have. Many thanks. Mike

Recommend looking on the TLC Tugger.com web site under resources almost at the bottom. There is a comparison chart. This helped me evaluate different products and make my decision. The http address is below that should take you directly to the chart if you cut and paste it into your web browser.

Bottom line research and pick the one that is right for you.
Take care,

Thanks, I had already seen that chart and personally was leaning more towards the TLC X because it gets better comfort and work ratings than the other three. Still interested in all other opinions though. Thanks again. Mike.

The right device is the one that is most comfortable for you and that you find most convenient. Many guys have more than one device (I have the TLC-X and the DTR - $95). We all have our opinions and preferences.
Unfortunately, there is no way to determine which device is best for YOU without you experimenting and deciding for yourself.

I started restoring about 4 months ago. I was a C-1 or C-2? when I started. I started with the TLC Tugger. as well as doing daily manual exercises. I have been very pleased with my progress, there have been good days as well as bad days of keeping it on. However, this past Saturday I started using the TLC-X mainly because of no straps. So far I have been very pleased. You can read my original post under Late Starter. Ron with TLC Tugger has been very helpful to me.

The one method not shown on that comparison chart is manual tugging. You can begin right away, and at least get used to the feel of something tugging on the skin. Then imagine one of these devices being used to hold it in place - this may help with your decision.

hey man. welcome aboard. register and start posting. :D
I use the DTR and am extremely pleased with it. In just over 30 days of use I am noticing a difference. it is under $100 shipped.
Other than manual stretching, this is the only product I have used, so I cant speak for the others, but they all seem to be effective. Take a look at all of them and see which one you think may be the most comfortable and convenient for you.
