Hi, I just got my tugger and was able to use it last week. I spent 4 days tugging between 10 and 12 hours per day. After about an hour of sitting, it would start to burn, but I found that standing up and walking around relieved that. By the end of the day yesterday, I couldn't wait to take it off. There was some discomfort and a lot of tenderness. The skin on my penis is still tender today. Is this normal? Am I tugging too hard? All advice and encouragement is welcome/necessary if I am going to be able to keep tugging.

Thanks guys!

Andy

I had the same thing happen to me. All I did was loosen the strap a little. I still had good tension but no pain. Sometimes it bothers me to have it on so if it does I switch to my CAT II Q. I have read things that other guys have posted on news groups and several of them say that if you use more than one method then the results are better. I have only been restoring for a month so I'll see if their suggestions work well.

I too have tenderness problems so am unable to tug through the night. Been using the TLC Tugger since last November. Have plenty of skin now but when I lighten tension, it comes off within minutes. Other methods have similar discomfort for me as well. I've manage things by taking it off for a minute every hour or two - this corresponds well with my drinking plenty of water and coffee. Nevertheless, growth has been good and seems to match the high end of what others are reported.

I have been tugging for 3 weeks now. I started out trying for 10 to 12 hours per day, but my dick got really sore and I had to stop for a couple of days. Then I tried one day on, one day off for the same time. After a few cycles, I was very sore again and took the weekend off. Last week, I decided to shorten the time tugging and do it every day. I was able to get 6 to 7 hours per day every day. I barely use any tension, just enough to keep the tugger on. I have slept a couple nights with the cone on and woke up hurting. This might take more time than I thought, but I will continue trying. Maybe as I get more skin it will relieve the pressure.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I suspect that "barely any tension" is about right, and that you are progressing fine. Take monthly photos. It will get more comfortable as you gain some working slack. I have days where I hate to use the toilet because it means having to undo an application that I could just live in forever.

Ron, does this confirm my fear that one needs to go on tugging FOR EVER? I mean, why would someone like you who has been tugging for years and look quite restored want to keep on the application when you have already gained what you wanted? Is it necessary? Does the restored foreskin have too little tension to cover around the bottom of the glans or will it still retract over the corona even when large enough to cover the whole glans? Personally I - and my partner - look much forward to being able to sleep together without the tugger coming in between us. And I also miss the feeling of freedom that one has when being able to pee like a man again.

Let's see. This is great and worth the trouble in any case. I enjoy the half foreskin I have gained by now and the much better sex it gives me.

I have the same problem. Even when I lighten up on the tension it still can hurt. But I also have a CATIIQ which can do the same thing to me also. But when it starts to hurt I just switch and the pain is gone and I still can be stretching. What I usually do is wear the CATIIQ during the day and then the TLC when I'm sleeping.

I have the same problem. I think it gets sore because there's too much tension, but then when you lessen the tension it's still hurting cause there's the cone keeping it in place (pressing on tender skin). I've also noticed that it can be painful if the edge of the tugger kinda curls under the fauxskin (maybe it'll be less bad once I get more skin?)

No, you can get to a finish point and stop. But as they say, you can never be too rich or have too much foreskin, so as long as it's easy and comfortable, why stop?

Am I "fully" restored? My skin will stay over the glans indefinitely, unless something nudges it. Well guess what? Clothes nudge it. I'm 100% fool-proof restored as long as I can strut around nude. So I wear at least the Your-Skin Cone at ALL times (except bathing, urination, and intimacy). Since we can't re-grow a frenulum to keep our skin forward, I think that may be our lot, that the Your-Skin Cone is like a routinely worn undergarment. I don't think that's such a bad thing. We're amputees, for crying out loud. The fact that something so easy to use is available to help us is a great thing.

Ever since my 42-month mark, I still tug, but only at my 9-5 job and some other hours. I used to tug every possible minute, and I estimated that I gained an inch of skin per year. The growth rate has definitely slowed. However, two major milestones didn't occur until more than a year after I went part-time. I found I could consistently get to the end of my morning shower still covered (despite being all swollen up from the warmth), and I found that I could withdraw from my wife after sex to see my skin pulled over the glans (by her vagina) with no handling required. In both cases I manually retract and wash - in case you were going to ask.
