this is the right place for support and encouragement.

to get started, review the manual tugging section of methods.

It's a long pull to get back some semblance of what was so cavalierly cut off.

It is normal to be worried/nervous/scared. The medical community takes a passive aggressive stance and so you cannot get help from them. They are clueless anyway. So by definition, you are doing something out of the norm, lunatic fringe type stuff. Anyone would feel that way.

So read. Get information. Read through old posts here and other places. Google "foreskin restoration" and read.

Take your time. This will take a long time, so no worries waiting a bit to get more comfortable. Then, when you start, go slowly and cautiously. Stay in your comfort zone. Ask questions and we will try and help. But know in advance that we only have the basics well understood. Each person has to feel thier way and experiment to find out how to do this effectively.

Jim,

You're in good company on this forum. The advice in the previous responses to you are good. Take your -- it will take time, but you've got a long life and a lot of potential enjoyment ahead of you. I wish that I had known what I know now when I 20 years old! You've got a great advantage!

Welcome. Lots of guys here willing to help. Restoring works!

As a beginner, you could start out with manual tugging method 2 (http://www.restoringforeskin.org/public/manual-tugging/method-2). You can start now, no waiting. You have all the equipment needed.

You can find out more information at this beginner's thread here (http://www.foreskin-restoration.net/forum/showthread.php?t=399) and at this link (http://www.restoringforeskin.org/beginners-guide-foreskin-restoration).

Jim,
Welcome to the world of FR and this great forum.

Recommend reading posts on this site and others about getting started.

Recommend you take starting pictures and accurate measurements.

Manual tugging is a great way to start until you have enough skin for a device. After a short time of manual I started using a TLC Deep device and it worked for me.

Take care and keep tugging.

You can ask away here, and get plenty of responses. We don't all do instant messaging.

Manual tugging has an advantage over the other methods in that you have complete control over how you're pulling the skin, so you don't have to be worried about any weight or device stretching it too much and causing damage.

Once you figure out what you're doing and get the hang of it, it's not scary at all. I remember what I found bizarre at first was seeing photos of people using weights and straps. I suppose it's easy to show a device that looks painful, but hard to show that it's not uncomfortable and that the amount of tension used is mild.

It's very easy, just start tugging, Do it you won't be disappointed. You are just going back as you were supposed to be. It's extra protection. Start manual then you can upgrade to devices from there. I have read that you just have to be consistant. Good Luck!
