View Full Version : Device exchange program

I've had a couple of members ask about an exchange program for the devices they're rarely used, and would like to sell or trade for something else. I know that there's the sanitation issue, but I spoke with a pro who said a tsp. of bleach to a gallon of water will kill anything. Any ideas how we can set this up, Ron?

I'd suggest a posting in the Lobby/Spam Terrace section. I'm guessing most members click "New Posts" when they visit, so they'd see any ads that went up since their last visit.

I've added a Trading Post section under the Restoration forum.

Fortunately TLC gear can be boiled to fight cooties. I wouldn't do it often because the device will wear out, but you could bring a mug of water to a boil with a few minutes in the microwave. Then take the mug out and drop the device in. Let it steep for a couple minutes.

You can also run a TLC device through the dishwasher if you secure it properly so it won't descend to the electrically heated depths.

Wow, dishwasher proof tuggers; what next? It would be great if it were scalpel proof foreskins!
