Not an uncommon response in the US where many guys seem hyper worried about sex, their penis, and being thought of as gay. Tough barrier to break down.

The problem is that all too often, people arguing against circumcision will use various arguments for their case involving the anatomy of the penis, how sensitive the foreskin is, what's lost, etc. - biologiical stuff others wouldn't understand - so that they really do sound obsessed with dicks. When debating the issue, you need to find a common ground so that the other person can relate to it and participate in the discussion. The argument of circumcision as abuse might work better.

Actually, I'm sure that most lesbians use some sort of pseudo-penis/phallic device during sexual activity, whether it be solo or with a partner. Even if they don't buy a device, they are probably using their fingers which are phallic in nature as well:p. When's the last time a girl got off without using some sort of phallic device? So in essence, they are still interested in "penises" or at least need them in some form or fashion. Sorry no stats to prove this, but my understanding.
