Hello, i was circumsised at the age of 6 and have always hated it, I have pink scars from a yeast infection just below my circumsision scar, if i restore will it hide the scar? also i was cut because my foreskin wouldnt go back properly so is it ok to still restore? thanks.

This is ridiculous. The mean age for foreskin retraction is 10.4 years. That means that some boys will not be able to retract until they are 17. Unfortunately the medical profession in USA has yet to learn this since all the doctors there are cut and have no idea about how a normal penis functions. Your doctor needs a wake up call from you or your lawyer.

Restoration is should cover up the scar and make you feel better about your body.Good luck.

Unfortunately, the doctor gave your parents bad advice. The up side is you can restore and there will be no problems from the skin being too tight. Wasn't a problem then, won't be after restoring.

When you say below your circ scar, do you mean on the shaft (outer) skin, or between the circ scar and your glans?

If it is between your circ scar and your glans, then it will be hidden when you have enough skin to keep the inner skin inside.

If it is on the shaft (outser) skin, then it is harder to predict, but my experience is that my circ scar has faded so much that I have a hard time using it to place my tape, so I expect that your scars will fade as well.

Regards

Thanks for the post Greg. This makes me even mader now knowing that it could have been avoided, it was like a must have thing at the time :( i can even remember screaming at the hospital not wanting to have it done, i definately suffered a ptsd as a kid from it as it went really bad, saying that i bet im not alone and there are plenty on this board who went trhough all the same stuff. This is amazing news that i can restore :) my scar is the shaft side and not inbetween the foreskin and the glands and it depresses the shit outta me and makes me extreemly self conscious. it is right on the circumsision line and about 5 mil down below as i had a fungal infection on my foreskin and it spread below it a tiny bit, it looks really ugly, i could handle it anywhere else on my body but not there, its pink so i dont know if it will fade or not but better still if it is joint on the circumsision just underneath it might still cover it up, it seriously looks like ive had an std or sumthin. Thank you again gregg for this encouraging post.

Because of the new law protecting females from unnecessary prepuce cuttings, men over 18 can now sue their parents and doctors for performing the same. The doctor Chose to not accept the knowledge that stretching relieves skin tension making excision totally unnecessary, because he can't make any money off stretching techniques..
I'd sue first, then start restoration, but I was already 45.
