i can believe that,

i was haunted by nightmares of being strapped down and having it cut off. I can never understand why my parents never thought to tell me. then I wouldn't have thought I was going crazy because of those nightmares. I'd say it is at least partially responsible for my lack of self confidence.

some people may say there's no way you can remember that, there are reports of people remembering things before the point normally accepted if the emotion is strong enough, and I'd say having genital surgery without anything for the pain would do it.

maybe the vast majority can block this out, and it is good for them, because as a kid those thoughts are most traumatic, but some of us for whatever reason don't block out the memories.
