Hey everybody, I'm just starting out. I'm 25 years old and I have a CI-1.
I've been trying a slightly different method. I use one hand. With my thumb I lightly press one point of my penis, with my pointer finger I lightly press another. I then move the two fingers apart, stretching the skin in-between my two digits and hold it for 30 seconds. If I feel any pain I loosen up a bit.
Most of the other methods are difficult, because my skin is too tight. Is recovery possible from a CI-1, through stretching like this?

Maybe Tally has some insight on a technique you can use, but from what you've described I suspect you are putting minimal tension on the skin involved, over a minimal amount of time.
To be honest, it's difficult for me to visualize any penile skin that is so tight on a flaccid penis that you can barely move it. Shaft skin is stretchy, you won't hurt it, and if nothing else, your penis can move back into it's body cavity, so if you use two hands, with several of the fingers of one applying enough pressure to push proximally on the penile bodies, and your remaining fingers of both hands pulling on shaft skin (forward or out; doesn't matter), for 30 seconds or more, you would be a little more effective. Some discomfort is part of any manual technique, but not strong pain. If you feel pain, then that's the indication that the tension is too high; just back off a bit. But at some point you have to push the envelope........well, literally, you have to pull the envelope :)

What you describe sounds like a variation of manual method 1 (http://www.restoringforeskin.org/public/manual-tugging/method-1). That method is good for focusing on a part of the penis that needs extra help, such as a dorsal side that is shorter than the other sides. It can be used when starting with tight skin, but, because it tensions only a portion of the shaft skin, I think it is more work and slower than using manual method 2 (http://www.restoringforeskin.org/public/manual-tugging/method-2).
Most of the other methods are difficult, because my skin is too tight.
I think the mainstay for manual tugging when starting to restore should be manual method 2 (http://www.restoringforeskin.org/public/manual-tugging/method-2). This method is perfect for those starting with tight skin. You can do it flaccid or erect.
