It's really very frustrating to read the Islamic stuff. There is just no debating with people who can make stuff up as they go along to meet politcal needs. Some Muslims are capable of simultaneously professing that the Qur'an is the final revealed word of Allah; perfect and complete - and also that Islam depends upon other sources set down in the centuries after Muhammad lived. Did Muhammad instruct people: "Be sure and add in whatever some charlatan tells you in the coming centuries" as He left the earth?

What sane person can respect such a bullshit-susceptible body of dogma?

As a result although the Qur'an says not one word about genital cutting for either gender, about 600 million Muslim males are circumcised.
