I just got mine in the mail today and am going to start right now even though it's 2 am, not sure if I'm bold enough to try to wear it during sleep yet but I'd I'm pretty sure I can get it on now.

How long should I tug or what should I do to determine to find out how long I can.

Maybe this helps (http://www.norm.org/faq.html#Best%20Regimen).

Tension is a stimulus that induces cell division. You do not need to do this for very long, think of manual restorers. I would suggest starting slow and working your way up as you get comfortable. Say a half hour the first day, working up to 3 hours a day. Longer is OK if you feel you want to. You can also do it in several sessions, say an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. There is no one size fits all and we do not have definitive information on what works best. You need to experiment.

Regarding tugging while sleeping, there is significant risk. As you sleep you will have nocturnal erections without even knowing it. These can cause too much tension resulting in skin tears before you wake up enough to realize what is happening. So before sleeping with your device in place, first simulate what will happen.

Get ready for bed and wear what you plan to wear to bed. Apply your device, get under the covers and give yourself a nice hard erection. Roll around as if asleep. Repeat this a few times, staying in bed for a half hour at least. No problem? Then try it while alseep, but even so I would back off the tension a bit the first few nights.

If you do have problems, you will be awake and can see what is happening. Adjust as needed and repeat.

My view is use consistent gentle tension at least half the time, and keep your skin passively retained over the glans all non-tugging hours.

Yeah, I'm going to try for about 10-12 hours a day and then just retain the rest.

I'm paranoid I'm not getting enough tension but on the other hand it's definitely more than tape and I can see\feel the stretch in my skin and i figure I can always increase it a couple months down the road of something. Pretty happy with it although it is a bit annoying to wear I'm not good with straps. I can always take it off and retain if I need to do something active.

I took pictures this time and am really looking forward to some concrete results (I've been cross taping since August 1st, just switched to Tugger yesterday. The sensitivity gains (enormous) have mainly been what kept me consistent, and the fact that being uncovered bothers the hell out of me, like literally, even is FS restoration turned out to be a scam I could never go back to constantly being uncovered, it just doesn't feel right.

I'm paranoid I'm not getting enough tensionYou'll measure your FEC monthly so you won't have to wonder whether you're progressing.

I'm going to take my FEC later tonight, and yes that is something I've been forgetting and meaning to do. Scaling back and am just going to retain for the next day or so as I definitely used too much tension when I first started off, but I have a better idea now how much after checking around on the forums.
