First of all, I'm posting here, because I'm tired of viewing the angry "smilies" in this room.
The actual reason for my posting is a question about member status. What's the difference between, a "junior member", a "senior member" and a "member".
Certainly not of major importance, but inquiring minds want to know ...lol

P.S. And now the angry "smilies" is gone from the main page!

i'm pretty sure it's similar to to other forums in that it just based on post count
junior - low post count
member - ~ 40+ (not sure)
senior - very high post count

Hi,
Thanks for vanquishing the angry smily. You could also ask me to do it; as admin I can edit threads.
I didn't do anything special about member status when I installed the forum, and I guess the default is to base it on post count. I saw somebody yesterday who was a senior member. I think it was me, actually.
If you want we could come up with wacky designations, but it's not like I don't have a long list of to-dos.

PS - OK I found where I can edit "User Titles" but so far it's always based on count (30 Member, 100 Senior Member). What I'd prefer is to have you supply your own or at least choose your own from a list. I don't know how to make it do that.

OK, I found where it lets me set it up so YOU CAN EDIT YOUR PROFILE AND CHOOSE WHATEVER YOU LIKE FOR YOUR USER TITLE (and it wasn't easy). 60 characters max. If it gets ugly round these parts, I reckon I'll change it back.

Dear Ron,
I read the above post by you and I went to my profile to edit my user name. No edit available. Has this been canceled? I could send one night posting to become a ' Member ". I personality would have felt that a new purchaster of a tugger could be judged by time like six months as a Jr. Member. Member status one year. Sr. Member one year plus. I'm still envious over Cloud 7. ' Very creative title'? Special priveliges?

Changing the Custom User Title is done by clicking User CP from the top menu, then choosing Edit Profile. I just did it.
