I don't have one, but it's something I plan on doing in the future. I was wondering if restoration would interfere... It's a piercing in the area where shaft meets scrotum, so it doesn't have the obvious intereference that piercings in or near the glans would, but... what are your opinions? Is this something I can do at my leisure or should I wait until after I've finished restoring?

Here's a pic. NSFW (obviously):

I've seen a few pictures of these, and they never fail to make me cringe.

Wait until you're done. Remember that you're tugging the pierced skin, so that means you would also stretch the holes along with it. Like wearing heavy earrings, it might eventually make the holes bigger.

I recently discovered this style of piercing, and while I don't necessarily mind genital piercings on other people, this is probably the only one I don't cringe about when I think of getting one for myself. So I understand the cringe factor :)

But yeah... the stretching was what I was worried about. So I guess I'll make this piercing my reward for reaching my goal.

*cringes* Well, that's defiantly not my cuppa tea, but each to their own. You may want to contact Chuck - the guy who makes the DTR device - he's got a similar style of piercing and may be able to advise you on how it would effect tugging.

I would wait for a couple reasons. 1. As previously stated, it could cause the hole to strecth. 2. As you restore, if could affect the placement of the piercing. I know there is a lot of discussion on here about shaft skin hair moving one direction or another during restoration. Also, restoration is known to help get rid of "turkey-neck." So either way, it is very possible that if you get the piercing in a specific location before you restore, it could be lower or higher after you are complete.

Why not wait till youve reached your restoration goal. It can be your reward for the hard work:)

i'd try to hold off on a lorum until close to finished restoring, if you end up with turkey neck it'll be more difficult to seperate tension between shaft and sack without bothering the piercing much. also might find the skin change you're trying to get is halfway up the shaft.

but i didnt take advice on waiting until finished restoring either when i got something.

I have four peirces equally spaced around the circumcision scar so I can hook straps from the end of the stretching device to body jewelery in the peirces. My scar is over an inch behind the head before I began stretching. By attatching to the scar, I can stretch lining while I am also stretching outer skin. And hopfully what was the circumcision scar will become the tip end of the prepuce.

Harry, how's that working out so far?
I've heard a lot of people talk about the idea, but it pretty quickly gets shot down on restoring boards.

I read a thing on one of the piercing sites (maybe BME?) a while back where a guy had it pierced around like that and after healed used something like fishingline or weedwacker cord to make a drawstring, after getting glans coverage he started using something as packing to keep stretching.

It works well. However, I had the dumbells changed out for heavy gauge rings as a means to attatch the stretching device, because after a prepuce began to become present, and when I am not wearing the device during the day, the prepuce covers the body jewelery along with most of the head of the penis. When I had the dumbells, they would get twisted around being trapped under the prepuce and cause discomfort. Some of the peirces eventually tore out and had to be redone because of it. And my prepuce would sometimes press the ends of the dumbells against the head of my penis as the dumbells were concealed and had no place to go, which I didn't like very well (some of the unforeseens at a time before I started possessing a prepuce). Since I had the dumbells changed out for 5/8 inch diameter rings, I have not had those problems. I have to wait for the new peirces to heal before I can continue using the stretching device. For now I have enough of a prepuce where only a quater or third of the head noses out of it when it is not errect. I can see myself in a full lengh mirror after I get out of the shower and already hardly believe it's me. And the rings will be easier to hook onto with small hooks rather than pressing a hole in the elastic over a dumbell endball. The skin at the peirces seemed to have drawn in some and formed somewhat of an orfice effect. I've noticed it when I retract it, and where the peirces are would slightly "pop" over the corona of the head. And when I slightly bend my knees and draw my lower torso back, the prepuce would "pop" back over on it's own, again covering most of my penis head (along with the jewelery rings).

Unlike an earlobe, I tend to think this kind of a peirce would over time tear out as they became an elongated hole. As for the "turkey neck" someone mentioned, if I get my prepuce the way I want it, I'll consider the "turkey neck" as something that gives my penis some charactor...as opposed to my penis being a "simple tube" behind the head.
