View Full Version : Tugging Straps

I just got my TLC-X a few days ago. I've been getting acliminated to using it.

I found that the over-the-shoulder straps are much more comfortable than the leg straps. Since I need to tug during the day, my predominate method will be the leg strap.

It seems that when I use the shoulder strap, the tension is on the skin on the underside of the penis. When I use the leg strap the tension is on the top of the penis, and there is some discomfort.

Any ideas?

Use both, and all, for that matter, directions to tug. When one becomes uncomfortable, change it to another. There is no "one way" to restore, and in fact there probably should be at least several ways (directions, methods, even devices) used as you continue on.

This process takes time; so much time that you will find yourself changing things around anyhow, at least to adjust for your results.

Lastly, putting tension on the underside is important, if you don't have a surplus of that tissue. A couple of guys here recently mentioned that they seemed to have more underside skin than on top, but from what I can gather, reading many, many posts over the years, there are probably more of us who have a big problem with very resistant underside skin. What I have discovered for me, is that this underside is the culprit in my skin tube rolling back, even though I have a decent tube length. In other words, I still need a lot more underside skin :(.

This underside tissue includes the raphe, the tough seam that runs along the length, and the tough tissue that runs adjacent to it. For me, and for others, very resistent to growth.

I find that the underside skin is problematic. My underside skin pulls the scrotum so it is difficult to get a good stretch of the underside skin. Maybe I have enough for now, and I need to focus on the upper skin.

I found that the chest strap puts more tension on the underside than the leg strap.

I use home made T-tapes for restoration and the DTR also. With T-tapes, the clip (attached to elastic) can be arranged to "trap" more of the part of the T-tape which is attached to the underside skin. Thus biassing the tension towards the undersurface skin. When I use T-tapes I now try to do this.

In my earlier restoration days, I tried to apply equal tension to all parts (and, by overall placement of the T-tape, to inner and outer skin).

I am not familiar with the T-straps. Could you describe?

When you use it with the DTR which rod do you use? Do you use it as only a tugger, or do you use the pusher as well?

Quick results

There is a restoration method of T-taping. One of the first. Involves adhesive tape in the shape of T which is applied to shaft skin and then tension applied.

Do an internet search for "T-tape" or look in the METHODS section here.

I sometimes use the DTR. My preferred method of use is without the push rod. I apply tension with stretched elastic. Other end of elastic is around the foot (daytime use) or around the waist for overnight use.

Hope this helps explain.

Hi Guys,

Started a few weeks ago.

What I've been doing with my straps is to loop one around my upper leg, right up past my ball and around just below my butt cheek then clip it to itself in front. Say I went around my right leg, I then run the strap across my front, around my left hip, across my lower back, around my right hip to the front where I clip it onto the tugger. This pulls to the side so I switch sides daily.

This way there are no straps around my chest down my leg or anything like that.

I COULD ALMOST HIDE MY TLC UNDER A SPEEDO!
Well maybe not, the cone would show and the straps make a slight visible indentation. Totaly invisible under shorts though!

If anybody tries this post what you think of it.

thanks and cheers
