Hey,

Does anyone know if its OK to sometimes not take off the Your-Skin Cone in the shower or when you go to the bathroom, or do you have to take it off every time (maybe the liquid damages it)?

I think it is important that you attempt to keep it clean. I wash mine everyday, but still notice dead skin getting caught in the microholes in the silicone material that will not come out. A month ago the surface was turning green a bit - must have been some active bacteria in these holes! Then I really went to town scrubbing it pretty well, and that hasn't happened since.

I wear it into the shower and it usually falls off sometime within 5 minutes. I gently scrub it briefly with soap and an old toothbrush.

Wear it through a urination and you're asking for a mess. Urine won't damage the device, though.

Do you senior restorers wear the cone all the time, or at least when not tugging? Is there a point when enough skin has been restored so that the your-skin cone isnt necessary to keep the skin around the glans?

^ I had the same question.....especially for Ron, who it looks like is completely restored? I was hoping that I won't have to wear the cone for the rest of my life, even though some of the structures that are present in our intact brothers are missing on us restorers (sorry if this was discussed on another thread).

When I'm at university or at work, I generally don't cover the glans, because it makes it sweaty and oily-ish, so when I put on the tugger it slips off too often because of the secretions.

I have mine covered all the time. Sure, I produce heaps of goo now (precum?) that either I didn't before or I wasn't aware of because it dried out. Now, I have to wipe my dick with a handkerchief every time I take my gear off, even for a pee. If I don't do that, the goo causes the gear to slip off too easily. If you want to restore the sensitivity of the glans, etc. you need to keep it covered most of the time.

Dear guys,
Ron has stated in other posts that he still wears 'your cone'. I don't believe he is still tugging. You can message him yourself. He is a great guy and doesn't mind questions from members, just E-Mail him under membership - Ron. Plus I agree with Ron. You must always remove the cones during urination. Showering, would be only if you felt like cleansing it with your self. I personally use the TLCTugger-X. It is best used with the elastic strap which tugs lightly to create new foreskin.
Sincerely,
Randel
