swelling of the glans due to pressure?

I've been using the DTR for a little while now and most of the time when I remove it, there are small areas on my glans that look like blisters, as if the blood was drained from them and they are a bit swollen. I'm obviously applying too much pressure but it sure doesn't feel like it as far as inner skin and shaft skin are concerned.

Anyone care to comment?

You can test this idea by stopping to let things get back to normal for a few days and then trying again with less tension.

I use dual tension, but not the DTR. While I see some evidence of the insert pressing/compressing, I would not use those words to describe what I see and it is nothing that lasts for a more than a few minutes.

Oh these 'blisters' last only a few minutes, I guess the time it takes for that area of the glans that has been compressed to get blood flowing again.

I'm going to try and cushion the bell with some latex pads.
