Joseph's last couple of comments were gold and I'd like to signal that in order to encourage him and give feedback.
For this reason, I'd like to suggest a "Like" button, similar to facebook's. I have wanted to have this several times while reading.
Some plugins exist for this here:

I agree...after reading hundreds and hundreds of posts, sometimes there is nothing to say, but would be nice to give support to a good argument...

I LIKE this idea also. Only thing, will it be that valuable it will be to this particular type of forum? Don't we all agree with each other anyway when it comes to genital mutilation and restoring?

This is supposed to be a supportive community, I don't think that would be a good idea. You're allowed to disregard those posts if you don't want to read them. :)

I should hope it would help people decide which posts offered something especially useful.

Completely agreed. As a new restorer-forum reader, I can attest to the hours spent weeding through useless drivel interspersed with real help and knowledge. It took several days of near continuous reading to find a few members who a) actually seemed to know what he was talking about and b) seemed genuinely caring enough to help. It would be of EXTREME help to have some way to know that the consensus is that one or the other comment is valid versus the numerous comments that are directly opposed to one another with no way for a newbie to differentiate.

You misunderstood me, Im referring to the people who tell them they shouldn't feel that way, the BASTARDS in the grief forum, not the grievers.|
anyway, it doesnt cause bitching. Ive been on forums that use this same template and have this feature, although they call it thanks. Underneath the post it lists all the people who have "thanks so and so for this helpful post".

It may not be a bad idea. I always try to stay out of the grief and religious sections out of respect for others. I know that I've been a bastard in the religious section a few times, but that was only because I didn't realize I was in the religious section. Not really sure about the grief section, as I fully understand how a lot of guys feel about RIC and I know what they are going through. I felt that way too when I was younger.
