Hi all,
First time posting. I'm 25 years old and I was circumcised for some kind of medical reason when I was 10. I think maybe my foreskin was originally too tight, but I have never discussed the reason with my family. Kind of a sore subject! The sensation in my penis is minimal at best and although I am able to acheive orgasm it is becoming more difficult as the years pass by, and I seem to lose more and more feeling. I've known about foreskin restoration for a while and did try manual tugging every day for about a month a year or so ago. I noticed some improvements and a little more slack but after I stopped it disappeared. I have a pretty tight circumcision on the underside with hairs almost all the way up to my glans. On the top side it is a little cleaner and I have some more actual foreskin. I guess my surgeon couldn't line things up properly.... (thanks). Anyway I have just started looking into this again and was going to go ahead and buy a device of some sort (was thinking a TLC) until I realised you need more slack skin to be able to use them. So, I've started manual tugging whenever I go to the bathroom for a minute or two and then whenever I can throughout the evening. I noticed cross-taping is a recommended method for beginners who don't have quite enough slack to use a device, but when I try to tape myself up I can't grip enough foreskin on the underside to pull over the glans. I end up pulling some shaft that has hair on it so it is probably scrotal skin. What should I do? Also if you stop tugging after making good progress, does it all revert back to its original state over time? Why do people continue to tug even after restoring? Thanks a lot, this is a great community. Rezz |

Your skin will not revert back. However, most people report that after about a year or so of not tugging, the skin swelling goes down and things even out. So, depending on how long you stopped for, your skin may have gone from inflamed to not. Another reason could be that, depending on how tight you were circed, your penis is "growing into" the new skin and being allowed to extend more to it's real length, thus making it feel tight again.
I am not an expert on tight circs as I am a CI-3 or so, but I would say to keep on manual tugging until you can cross tape. Take a look at RestoringForeskin.org; there is a manual tugging guide that can help you change things up, as well as forums. Many people here also post over there. |

I asked the same question to Doctor Peter (member on the national organisation of restoring men) he said that the skin that grows never been lost again so don't worry
but I advice you to use a T_Tape for the moment about 6H every day, if you can more then use it more good luck

The more slack you gain the more consistently it will hang over the glans. |

You do not have to completely cover your glans when cross taping. If very little skin remains, the tape can bridge the gap. You may want to put something soft under the tape that lies against your glans. And cover the sticky side of the tpae that is against your glans with a small piece of tape oriented the opposite way, so no sticky parts are there.
You can also use the pill tube method. Simply tape your skin to the edge of the pill tube. You do not even need to overlap any skin onto the pill tube. What you want to do is apply enough tension the the skin to induce cell division. But in the beginning, all you need is some tension. Later you will want to be more precise. Regards

The cross tape will begin to loosen and as this happens, the sticky side can get into contact with the glans, although with sweat, and urine, and other moistness, the stickiness of the tape will be lessened, sometimes to the point to it no longer being sticky. I am posting this just to let any beginner FRs know that yes, we do not want the sticky side of the tape to contact the glans, but, it is inevitable that it will happen some. |

Thanks for the replies all, great advice. I tried cross-taping for a while yesterday with what skin I do have available, and did indeed end up with tape on the glans.... not very comfortable coming off!
Still thinking about buying a device and giving it a go. I'm edging towards the TLC-X over the TLC because it seems to do everything and more. Plus straps might be a bit awkward for me at my job. |

Canister devices are a good way to get started.
