Default Electrical Tape!

I've been using the TLC tugger with electrical tape for added stability and it's just great. It won't slide off at all now unless I decide pull it off.

The thing is... I'm wondering if the electrical tape is somehow toxic/bad??

It's super cheap which makes it incredibly convenient, but is it safe?

I wouldn't put electrical tape near my mucosa.

You should contact your device vendor to see what can be done to improve the fit or grippiness of your device.

I put my TLC tugger on as normal, except after I put the skin cone over the tugger, I put the electrical tape around half on the skin cone and half directly on my skin.

Why is this bad? It works so well.

I used electrical tape for weeks while using the canister option, with no problems

You'd probably want to find out what material the tape is made of. Sometimes vinyl is made using lead based plasticizers. I googled it and there are some on the market that specify lead free, but I'm sure not everyone cares about that with electrical wiring.
