Newforeskin, who's named Lorenzo, that is the person who has been in contact with Acell, has basically stated that there are basically no remaining steps in order for the actual procedure to be performed on a human subject, they have everything ready, the only thing they are waiting on is their urologist to give his say-so.
Hi, guys,
i am glad that my target to get a foreskin through regenerative medicine has found your enthusiasm, this is all what we need:ENTHUSIASM.
Regarding the fund, i do not think that, once we raise the money,we have to give that money to Acell right away:we must only let them know that we have created this fund, that will support their research ,of course they have let us know how much time they think it will take before a procedure will be ready for us.We have nothing to loose , if we harvest for instance 100.000 $, we must be sure that Acell will use the money for our research, if it will not,we will take our money back.
To nswer to someone of you:
I have never said that the procedure actual can be performed on human subject .Acell's urologysts have declined to offer a procedure using Acell's technology, that's why Acell's manager suggested me to look for a plastic surgeon.I have found this plastic surgeon and i have put him in contact with Acell,i will wait a couple of days to know if they have spoken each other,
then we will see:Acell's manager has always claimed that their technology could regrow a foreskin and the nerves, and i firmly believe this guy, but they are scared to take the responsability to start this project, they are scared to be sued if they give some illusions and then something goes wrong, it is not my fault if in USA everybody sues everybody......................so, when they told me, "if you have a plastic surgeon to colaborate with us, we are glad to talk with him of this project" , it means that they do not want the responsability to look for him, that's why i have found this guy and put him in contact with Acell ,
i want to see if they really want to help us.

Please, to be honest with all of us, can you delete this thread?
I do not want to give illusions to people who are already suffering for a loss,
if you read my threads you can realize that i have never said " there are basically no remaining steps in order for the actual procedure to be performed on a human subject, they have everything ready "
i have only said what i manager of Acell told me:"Our technology could regrow a foreskin and its nerves" ,
that is a little bit different...........
So , i understand your enthusiasm, but it is necessary to be honest with ourselves,so ,please, can you remove this thread?
Also,
can you remind me your name ?
Thank you

Lorenzo

Oh, ok, I'm sorry, maybe I was misunderstanding what you said. I don't actually have the power to delete a thread (I'm not an Admin or anything) but, I apologize for misquoting you. My name is Josh.

Don't get jumpy asking for thread removal

Although you are right being able promote regrowth and having perfected the application to have it work are different things. The really hard bit is already done comparatively speaking of course. Provided Acell's tech works as claimed it shouldn't be to hard to develop a method to make it work for our purpose.

I understand that we all have lives and probably can't have a makeshift biolab testing facility in our car port. But!!! there are numerous companies who can develop methods and do the tests for us. For a nominal fee of course

It would probably be far cheaper then funding Acell directly. It would also keep a lot of um... issues from ever coming up.

Yup, so... no one else has bothered to reply to my initial emails.

So I guess none of the non-profit groups are interested and or have the time/money to manage an investment account.

If anyone is active in any of these non-profit org, and you like the idea... you may wish to bring it up at the next meeting.

Until then I will look at more conventional ways of starting this. Though my time is limited at the moment so, any ideas are appreciated.
