Default Cut on Perineal raphe during process. WORRIED!!

Halo...

everyne, please give me some ideas about this, during the process of restoration, my Perineal raphe has been cut, is it a matter? does it affect any sensation, or does this raphe contains any nerve, or sensation, as i have been cut, is it a matter for my sexual life? . i am really worry about this, so upset it has been cut..

(The perineal raphe extends from the anus, through the mid-line of the scrotum (scrotal raphe) and upwards through the posterior mid-line aspect of the penis (penile raphe).

It is observed as a noticeable line.

It is the result of a fetal developmental phenomenon whereby the scrotum (the developmental equivalent of the labia in females) and penis close toward the midline and fuse.

The resulting ridge of tissue is evident as the perineal raphe.)

i attch the picture.

Can't tell from your picture, but if it's a surface cut, take some time off from restoring, and let it heal.

You'll probably be al-right.

Jackieee,
Many years ago (long before starting to restore) I had an "accident" with a zipper at about the same place. It healed up fine, though still slightly visible. In fact, the scar has expanded along with the rest of the skin. No effect on sensation. I think the main nerves along the underside of the penis are quite deep under the surface.

I don't think you have anything to be worrying about.

I've done worse in my more depressive episodes. For example, I fussed so much over one detail on my penis that I actually ripped a tiny piece of mucosal skin off, leaving a bit of a dent in it's place. I'm still feeling things from the region it was pulled off from... If you just leave it be, and let it heal, things should return to normal. Hopefully the appearance will too.

It was shown at the Symposium last September how the nerves for the penis come up through the center, not along the skin from the base. This is why we can be circumcised and still feel something. If it were otherwise I'm sure circumcision would not be popular.
