I am curious to the average age of a restorer. I gather that men over 50 are ok with there current state and don't want to change. Men over 60 probably are not circumsized so they are unaware of restoration. Men under 50 are more apt to search and find a solution to their desire for change and a foreskin. And men under 25 are also unaware and OK with their bodies how ever they are.
Please note that these are just my opinions....what are yours? I am 38, married and restoring for just over a year with a supportive wife and no children........yet...we start trying this September. ![]() Colorado |

I'm a teenager. I discovered the facts about circumcision and restoration at the age of 12, but I waited years and didn't start restoring until about a month ago.

I was 10 when I learned of circumcision and its negative effects. It's a damn shame to be just barely pubescent and ALREADY be worrying about something like that. On the plus side, at least it's afforded us the opportunity to start restoring at an early age.

Im 19 and im restoring because i've alway's wanted a foreskin, wet glan's and the protection from surfaces and I wanna be normal, how i was when i was born (yeah i know lame answer but its why im doing it)
I found out about restoration last month (never thought it was possible) and did 2 days of research, ask some questions and immediately started cross taping after my questions was answered........we really should be advertising restoration on the NET as i never thought it was possible the people I told didn't either PS this should have been a poll you'd probably get more answers that way |

I'm analyzing 1000 restorer data points right now in preparation for my speech next weekend to the Genital Integrity symposium in Berkely. I'll post an age histogram, maybe before my trip (unless I'm still writing the speech on the plane).

I'm 25 and have been restoring sporadically since I was 19, when I learned the horrible truth about my circumcision. I was dating a girl from Europe at the time, and didn't want to ever put her through the discomfort of circumcised intercourse. Though we never got to that stage, she was very supportive of my restoration and has been a major influence on me continuing to restore.
I think a lot of young men realize they have some time to change what was done to them. I want to spend as much of my life with a foreskin as possible, for me and my future spouse! |

I'm 20 and I knew about restoration and all at around 18 but didn't really put serious consideration into it until recently. I really just wish I had started earlier because there is so much that is going to change in my life by the time this is all through. If I was still in highschool I wouldn't have to worry so much about all these stresses of getting my life together and would be able to have faith that I'd always have the time to set aside for manual stretching.

found out about it when I was 17 after a night with my gf being not too pleasant. I thought my dick was just unusually insensitive or that my gf was just really sensitive for her to be so obviously enjoying it more then I. After research into penile insensitivity I found out about this, and the negative effects of circumcision on sex fit my situation to a T, so now I am restoring so that I will be able to enjoy normal, sensitive, tender, penetration. (not to mention increased enjoyment of masturbation, an act that has usually seemed more trouble then its worth for me.) Hopefully it wont take me too long to get the coverage I want. I just want enough for partial coverage while erect, and since I am young my skin will grow grow faster. I just wish everybody who was circed could realize and start restoring young. Also we aren't going to get this practice outlawed in america unless we get more active in lobbying and marches ect, ect, ect. Although thats sorta off-topic

31 here… though I discovered restoration 10 years ago and didn't stick with it. It's been far too sporadic, but lately I've been trying to stay consistent in my efforts so I can finally get this done.
Quote:
I was aware of what circumcision was around age 9 or 10, and that it was unnecessary, but it wasn't of much concern until several years later when the skin started getting tight on my penis. Despite that, I was ok with the way it was - but once I found out restoration was possible and could help, I didn't hesitate to do it.
