hi

Let's list all of the FAQ regarding tissue regeneration.

Just an example (not necessarily an accurate answer):

Q: How long would the hospital stay likely be before and after the procedure?
A: Probably anywhere from a week to a month, with the patient having his penis taped in a way to protect it, and a catheter to allow urination and the taping and bandages would be done in such a way as to accommodate erections.

Q: When is likely to be available?

Q: Where are the trials likely to happen?

Q: How much would it be likely to cost once it goes commercial?

Q: What is the likelihood of any dangerous infection?

Q: What, if any, drugs would be used to absolutely prevent infection?

etc etc

---------------

It's obvious there are a lot of unanswered questions. Perhaps we could list them all and put them in one place. This means having a simple catalogue/catalog of these FAQ. So if there is a confident answer, great. If the answer isn't sure yet, then it could be qualified with words like "perhaps", or "likely" etc.

Having these FAQ organized and in one place would save people from having to ask or answer the same questions over and over, and they could be found in one place.

There are so many unknowns. Even if some of the questions are answered "unknown" at least we would know it's unknown, which is better than not knowing either way.

Information is power. We need a lot more information. Most of us are not medical professionals, so it should all be in simple English (and any other languages).

--------

A slightly different issue:

What procedures can we do ASAP to advance us at least a little bit, in a concrete way?

For example:

- scar reduction

and/or in combination with

- simple skin and/or mucosa grafts

Maybe we shouldn't aim for the sky yet. Yeah, have some lofty goals, but take smaller concrete steps in the meantime. Let's not fly before we can walk or jump.

And let's compromise as much as we have to until we can do something with the numbers (money) "we" have right now. If we only have money for one man to have the trial, let's do it and do it asap. if we can only do a simple first-step version of a trial, let's do that. Any step and any success would serve to motivate lots of people! But if it's all future stuff and unrealistic... If it's all theory and words, I don't think many people will be interested. I, for one, am not interested in the possibilities. I want to see real progress on the physical plane. Anyway, this is the way to go if you want lots of people to get interested and be impressed.

I wonder about this angle too:

What about growing OUR OWN FORESKIN MUCOSA in petrie dishes (or whatever is used) and add that to our penises? And of course, minimize or eliminate the present scars!

Let's think about some realistic and quick solutions. We can't fly yet. Let's see where we can get to by walking instead of, for example, waiting for an airplane to arrive and carry us away.

You are wrong.
Regeneration doesn't exclude foreskin restoration ,
sofar restoration is the best option ,There are over 200,000 men restoring at present who are very satisfied,it can produce dermal and mucosal tissue .
You should never stop to restore,
because we are not sure how long it will take to find the best therapy to regenerate the entire foreskin, also,
we are working on finding viable therapies to regenerate small parts, like the frenulum or the ridged band,in order to satisfy the needs of the thousands of people who have already restored.

DONATE to FOREGEN !!
Every donation brings you and millions of others one step closer to having a complete body back for good.
When you help foregen, you are not only assisting yourself but also the many millions of children who, like you or someone you know, were never given a choice.

Jaw bone grown from stem cells.

I take it from the article and pics and language that it means "jaw bone material", and not "a (whole) jaw bone", though I could be wrong. Either way, it's quite cool.

In the meantime, here is the "simplified" mathematical equation:

weight + gravity + tape = mucosa growth + skin growth

I love this idea. This is a VERY good idea.

I suggest, if you are a regular restorer and want privacy, to make a fake name, and if and when Foregen is on Facebook, join it!

Yeah, ok, it's not completely open, but if you're only a restorer and don't want all your Facebook friends to see penis stuff...

Yeah, I want to get this foreskin thing OUT of the closet, and we can work on getting the word out, but in the meantime, we can't expect everybody to be instantly ready to tell the whole world "Hey everybody! I'm making my foreskin bigger!"

I just think that those who are leading the way should be as open as is possible under the CIRCUMstances.

Let's just do what we can, and as much as we are willing to do. If you want to stay in the closet, stay in the closet and promote de-circ from the closet.

But if it ever becomes non-taboo, that's the end of circumcision.

The death-knoll for genital mutilation is light.

BTW, I'm wanting to just touch briefly on this aspect, although some will find it weird. Speaking of light.....

What about light therapy? I would hazard a guess that sunlight directly on the penis would go a long way to healing skin that is being stretched.

I think going naked isn't necessary. Some sunlight will go through material.

Thumbs up Re: foregen launches a new world of foreskin regeneration

60 Minutes did a piece on organ regeneration last night(7/25/10). It was very encouraging. It is being done now with heart valves, kidneys, etc.
