Great news!

Did you tug? What method did you use?

Here's some pics of my new foreskin. I had an imlant put in by Dr Elist to stretch it out. after 5 years of tugging I realized I was just cut too damn tight to get any coverage, so I was desperate and found a surgical option. this only took 3 1/2 months and I expect much more "foreskin" will be coming.

Doesn't look too bad, still a little swollen, it'll take quite some time for that swelling to go back down to normal, but honestly doesn't look bad. Compared to what I've heard of some of the other alternative methods used before, it really doesn't look bad at all.

It'd be nice to see some progress pictures here and there as the swelling goes down, if you're up to it of course.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I meant to ask, what method of tugging did you use? I have followed this thread, and one of your last posts stated that the doictor had told you you could gently start tugging to complete the restoration process. I was just curious what method you used, if any, to tug as a supplement to the implant.

Regards

Greg B - I just wore a skin cone for the last month or so, the rest is from manual "milking" technique that Dr Elist suggested. and of course the implant has dropped down a bit since the last pic's,
The hair removal method I prefer is electrolysis, I tried a laser treatment but it seemed that most of the hair came back, either way it takes multiple sessions. good luck all!

Sorry to potentially bring in something off-topic, but I was thinking about this as I read this thread.

For those of us who have a lot of hair on the shaft, we can restore all we want but of course we can't make the hairy skin rest 100% back where its supposed to, right? Even if it's no longer pulled up tight, it's still been stretched loose.

I was wondering if one could restore to the point of significant overhang, and then surgically "circumcise" the pubic area to tighten up the hairy areas again and bring some of the overhang back down to cover the rest, so that shaft skin is on the shaft and hairy skin is on the pubic area and scrotum.

I don't know if it's worth it myself, but some people out there have a LOT of unnatural hair-bearing space.

If I understand what you are saying, you are suggesting that one could cut a cylinder of skin away between the penis and the body, near the base of the penis, and then reattach the remaining skin edges, to remove hairy skin that is there and cause some of the skin that is not so hairy to be pulled closer to the body, at the loss of some progress you have made?

Sounds like a bad choice to me. First, anytime you completely encircle a body member, removing skin and making a gap, then reattaching, you are potentially severing blood vessels and nerves. Something I prefer to avoid if at all possible.

Second, you will unavoidably cause some damage and reduction in function in the dartos muscles, how significant I do not know, as well as leaving another scar on your penis.

Third, there is strong consensus that restoring will reduce the amount of hairy skin on your penis, at the very worst, it will have no effect. So most likely you will achieve the same thing by simply restoring.

Finally, there is wide variation among intact men regarding how much hair and how far up the penis it goes. So you may end up with hair on your penis, but it may be well within the normal variation for intact men.

But if you feel it necessary to pursue this, you should talk to a surgeon. Just keep in mind that he/she will likely be clueless about what is possible through non-surgical restoration and the value of a functioning foreskin. My guess is that by the time you have reached your goal, you will find there is no hair issue to worry about anymore.

Regards
