Question TLC-X w/ Spring

Hey

I was wondering if anyone has instructions for how to use the TLC-X with the spring and washer instead of the elastics?

Hi,
To use the spring, slide the rod out of the TLC-X. With Pusher attached to the rod, slide a spring onto the rod. Then slide a washer onto the rod over the spring. Slide the rod back into the TLC-X.

Compress the spring during application (you could hold it with the set screw), then carefully release it. Some people use multiple springs, stacking washers between them. You could wear it without the collar and set screw for minimal bulk in your pants.

Can you upload a few digital pics maybe? I'm pretty dense at picturing the arrangement of these parts just based on description.

YOu stated earlier that the spring that is in a ballpoint pen will fit. What is the proper size washer that will fit?

I use the X at night mostly but find that if I wear it without the collar and screw, I get a good stretch due to the spring, but after a while ( 3/4 of the way thru the night) the skin gets a little strained and I have to remove it. This does not happen when the collar is set.
