United?
Does this issue unite us more than other issues divide us? I'm sure there are many different social, political and religious beliefs represented in here. For instance some of us may be quite liberal while others may be conservative, some of us religious some atheists and then don't forget opinions on all of the major news stories over the last year. Aside from agreement on the issue of circumcision, I'm sure that there is no ONE type of person here; yet it seems that this issue is so important it unites us despite perhaps otherwise divergent worldviews. I know someone with an extremely different political viewpoint from me yet he has expressed his feelings against circumcision. I feel more united with him than I do with most other people who share my political viewpoints but either believe in circumcision myths or think it is no big deal.
Does this single issue, circumcision or intactivism unite you with other people more so than other aspects of your worldview such as politics, religion (or lack of) and opinion on divisive social issues in the news media?
