I hate it when people say this, and a sad reality is that it's reinforced in people's minds by the word foreskin, even if unfairly so. The idea that there's "extra" skin is based simply on the comparison to the culturally introduced artificial condition of the circumcised penis. If you were used to a vulva where the labia was amputated, you would think an intact vulva had "extra" skin too. People seem to think there's this dotted line where the foreskin is loosely attached onto the "actual" penis. People are so fucking stupid that they can't see beyond their own cultural biases and understand that ideas like "extra" or "excess" are complete BS when you compare them to a wholly artificial state.
It also carries an inherent implication of the idea of need, and need is a relative term. My friend once said that the foreskin isn't needed, and I asked "needed to do what?" He didn't understand my point about the relativity of the word need. /rant |

Of course, what they deem "excessive" is in reality the default state of human anatomy, and what they conceive to be the default state is in reality grossly deficient.
Having to even explain this is what's NOT NEEDED. That this even warrants detailed explanation demonstrates the extent of the depths of human stupidity. I believe the simpletons spouting such an incomprehensibly stupid notion were put on the planet for the express purpose of tormenting the souls of genital mutilation victims. /rant

I've posted this one before. But it is just too relevant not to include in this thread. 1:05 "Ohh...I don't think I have any 'extra'" (grimace) |
