Default State, Region, Country

There should be an area, divided by State, region or country where we can meet others from our area. Just a thought!

I like this suggestion. I was the member of another forum and there was such a section; it was very useful.

Check the closest location of a NORM chapter. If there is not any, why not starting one? Ron Low has been most helpful in contacting his clients in my area, telling them to get in touch with me, should they be interested in meeting other restorers. Posting an ad in a local newspaper might bring inquiries for the wrong reason, but could reach a lot more men.

That's also a great idea Freddys, but it will not solve the issue of localizing the folks in this forum. Anyhow, if it's deemed to be too difficult by the admins, it's not a huge biggie.

Default 'Restoring in EUROPE' group

Hi folks, I went ahead and created a 'Restoring in EUROPE' group for those of us restoring in Europe, and those of us linked to Europe by any means (like you Freddys ). Seemed to be a nice compromise for Euro restorers to connect and spare having the admins go through extra trouble to screen folks by where they are. Okie, see you in the Euro group!
