Queen’s Park baby bled to death two days after being circumcised
http://www.kilburntimes.co.uk/news/q...#sharinganchor Another baby died from loss of blood after his circumcision. Coroner's verdict: accidental death. http://www.kilburntimes.co.uk/news/q...eing_circumcis How many more babies need to die, while circumcision is still promoted for health (?) benefits? Are we intactivists the only reasonable human beings? |

"Rabbi Cohen was entirely blameless for the tragedy."
no he was not blameless. Rabbi Cohen is the one that preformed the circumcision. the baby died as a result that is homicide. as a doctor his sole duty is to his patient. not the parents and certainly not his/her religion. this quack doctor rejected his oath and as a result the baby died. "Directing her comments to Mrs Abrafi, Mrs Radcliffe said: “This is simply a tragic accident, an unforeseen consequence of the surgical procedure that this baby undertook." the baby did not undertake the operation it was forced on him. undertake implies consent from the patient. the quotes are from the article

The more I thought about it, the more I feel that we are returning to the barbaric days of offering our children's lives to placate some powerful deity.

Easy w.o.f. Let's try to keep this on topic. nvm, edited.
The rabbi should be held responsible for the death, but not for "murder". It's more of a manslaughter, though in this case the death of an infant. People die in surgery somewhat frequently, but seeing as the circumcision is 99% unnecessary I find this to be an example of why it's wrong. This baby lost more than tissue, he lost his life. Tragic. |

This BS is routinely taught in evangelical, protestant churches throughout the south and rural areas across the U.S. It's shameful that people have lost the ability to think critically. |
