Default Tension with TLC Tugger question

Anyway, I'm working on making this a part of my lifestyle.

I'm using a TLC tugger and keep the strap above the knee. I've been restoring for about 2 weeks. The first week I was using too much tension 3 inch base line and tensioned it to 3.5, but now I went to ron low's recommendation of 3.25.

The first time I tried using the TLC i had a lot of problems but this time it's going better. However, as I add time my bating mostly gets worse. Do i need to ease into an 11 hour a day routine or what? I've been doing 3 hours tops at 3.25 and the other day I did a 2 hour stretch in the morning and 2 at night. Usually my bates have been okay doing this but Idk. It depends on the day.

Should I wait it out, change or what, very perplexed. I am not super cut tight, I believe my FEC is about 66% don't have an exact figure here on my comp right now.

Its probably not a bad idea to stop every 3 hours or so anyway for toilet breaks and some blood flow.

You need to adjust the tension so it's gentle enough to wear in comfort for your desired tugging duration.

Setting the strap so a nominal 3" span stretches to 3.25" when tension is applied is just an example of how one could apply a pound of tension WITH OUR OLD strap supplier. I'm not sure the newer straps conform to that standard. The point is you can calibrate any elastic in this way. Further, I don't necessarily mean you need 1 pound of force. The amount of tension you can use depends on the duration you expect to tug and also your girth and your skin thickness.

Okay, thank you Ron as always you are very helpful. I'll have to find something that weighs a pound to do that.

Funnily enough, I was busy yesterday and accidentally left the tugger on for 5 hours in a row, and had no problems this morning, and in fact had one of the best bates in "long" time. I am still amazed at how much of an improvement I've gotten from retaining with tape and restoring, even if I have much skin to grow. I suspect, perhaps stress and the isolation I have had since I moved is a problem with me recovering from tension. Just a hypothesis, I write things down to find out what works, and doesn't but I should definitely work on being more active and seeing friends to help my body function better.
