Default Skin peeling on or directly under scar

So tonight after I've been tuggin all day and after an hour or so with the dtr I noticed there was some dried/peeling skin directly under my scar( which has been fading away ). I can best describe it as a sunburn when you start to peel. Is this normal or what. Been at this for jus about a year also if that helps.

It sounds like you are getting some dekeratinization. That is pretty normal. I have had several incidents of that.

It sounds like normal progress in dekeratinization to me. Dekeratinization events can be a shock to your system. They certainly were to mine. But then you have to realize that what is really happening is you are progressing to what Mother Nature had intended for you all along.

Worry less. Tug more.
You are going to want more length from here on so that you always remain covered.

Good post.

This has just started to happen with me this week. Have a little of this happening on my shaft skin just below the scar line. It is only mild and is not affecting me in any way, other than I noticed this.

Wow...I had this SAME issue (read my circumcision scar pain thread) a week ago and I had to take a break from restoring as a result. Mine was probably more severe though. The "flaking skin" was the kind where, not only the "flaky bits" come off. It blended with the non-flaky skin so it took a bit of that with it, and wala, bleeding.

It's not about never having had a foreskin to experience with. It's about researching what you've been deprived of.

Anyway today...it was a penis flaking frenzy for me (not on the glans, but around the area mentioned by the OP). Seriously, is anyone else addicted to peeling this shit off their dick? It's a waste of time but I can't help it . So I wet it a little then put on some lotion...made it look better.

And this time it wasn't a "bleeding" peeling. The flakes were like uh...head flakes.

By the way, I'm not sure if anyone noticed this but to whoever started restoring like a month or two ago, did you notice your glans keratin getting a little crustier (not harder). I'm not sure if this is a result of restoring, or that my dick was just washed and then dried, and it was cold. Maybe restoring crust-ifies the keratin so it cracks off later, but obviously this wouldn't make sense...
