My mother has lung cancer and is terminally ill. It is very likely she will have to spend her remaining days with me. I honestly can't imagine going around the place naked in front of her, but to each his own. I see nothing wrong with nudity in certain settings, but everything has its time and place. If this young man decided to masturbate in front of his parents, would that be acceptable too? I would hope not. Something about this just doesn't quite click. Anyway, just my thoughts on the matter.

That'd be introducing a radical change to an already dire situation. The parents are used to it, and so is the child. It's hard not to read your "going around the place naked" as not an offensive gesture. What's normal to you and your mother could be very different to what's normal to others.

Not at all. You're connecting nudity with sexuality - something these parents MUST learn not to do. Their child probably already has the separation and I severely doubt he'd have any desire to masturbate in front of them. It's literally be no different than any other kid masturbating in front of their kids - all that's stopping them is some pants! And I assure you, the difference between deciding to jerk off or not is much more than a pair of pants...

So you're saying this kid is one of the few people in the world that's actually comfortable with his body enough to want to be naked most of the time, and the parents want this behavior to stop? Shit, I think this kid may grow up to be happy one day (fancy that,) if I were those parents, I would not mess with that at all.

My kids went naked indoors a whole lot until maybe age 7 if I recall.

I wouldn't be personally comfortable with being naked in my house with children, but my friend said his entire family (him, mom and dad) were naked all the time in their house. I'm not sure what "naked all the time" translates to, exactly... but probably very frequent nudity. Personally I'm kind of uncomfortable with it due to hygiene concerns... I think underwear is a good idea when sitting on things.

He said when he got home he would immediately get naked cuz it felt so much better and he didn't like wearing clothes.

I was kind of shocked to hear this because he comes from a conservative country. Go figure.

This thread is getting awfully serious. Time for a little humour I think. Uncle Benjamin's nude day from the British TV series 'The League of Gentlemen':

Freddys said it well. I absolutely agree with him.

It may have been pointed out but the boy is not showing signs of being an exhibitionist. He is showing that he is comfortable and not self-conscious at home. My Mother made me very self-conscious about being shirtless, so much so that I once told a shirtless boy that he wasn't going to heaven. (What if I met little me?)

Don't fix something that isn't broken. His parents shouldn't discourage his nudity. Nudity is normal, draping is not. Maybe they should encourage and adopt nudity.

When I get my own place I will always be naked when I'm home and anyone who wants to be naked at my place can be. This will not change when I have children. Children of mine will have a much healthier conscious.

I also like what mark85 and intact said.

The boy should be allowed to live in peace. It is the rest of the fucking world that is messed up. Note that it is the circumcised textiles that want to fight to the death.

It seems that many parents feel uneasy about the bodies of their children. I wonder if circumcision is a way for McParents to REDUCE THOSE PHEROMONES.

Equal protection under the law to foreskins and clitorises? The whole system and the constitution might um, be collapsing now. Reject the system!

But they don't know where those pheromones come from.

You sound young by the statements you make. If you want everyone naked in your house, ok. When you go over someone else's and they want you to wear clothes, respect their wishes instead of saying fuck the world. That does not make you look smart. It just makes you sound immature.
