I've just recently been considering foreskin restoration and I think cross taping is how I will start, but whenever I pull my skin up my head goes down into it, I feel as if theres no tugging of my skin, any suggestions or help? If you have pictures or videos on how you cross tape email me.

that is what is supposed to happen. With cross taping, the pressure of your glans trying to emerge puts tension on your skin. That is also why it will not be enough for the long haul. But it is a good and gently way to begin and get used to restoring. Here is a beginners guide that also talks about cross taping:
http://www.restoringforeskin.org/for...uide-restoring There is a link there with an illustrated guide to cross taping. When I began, I used cross taping for a week. then switched to the pill tube method, then to my current method of t-tape strips and insert in fairly short order. You may want to cross tape longer than that, there is no one way, do what you feel comfortable with. You will need to get used to doing this each time you try a new method, so it is always good to start gently and slow. Just get used to it at first, then increase tension as you get comfortable. As far as the amount of tension, you will need to experiment to find waht works best for you. Regards

Thank you! How far do you think I could go with cross taping? Im not sure if i want full coverage but I would like coverage at least halfway over my glands.

Spend some time now (while cross taping and getting used to that)considereing what other methods you would be likely to do on a daily basis and are comfortable with. If you like taping methods, here is a description of my method: http://www.restoringforeskin.org/for...uide-restoring But there are many methods out there. Read and ponder. Then try another method. See how that goes. It is fine to change methods as you gain more experience, not to mention more skin. Be prepared to experiment a bit. Ask questions. Regards

If I were you, I would just commit maybe 1 month to do cross taping plus one of the simple manual methods.
If you commit to doing that for one month, then don't judge your progress or how you feel about any of that until after that one month is over, you will be in a better position to decide whether you want to continue and how. I did just cross taping and manual for probably the first month when I was deciding whether I wanted to do this or not. After that first month, there was no question I wanted to see this through, so it simply became a matter of finding the method(s) that I could fit into my daily routine with minimal effort and intrusion. The variety of effective tools and techniques is amazing, I am so glad all of these inventors/tinkerers have applied their creativity to this. |

http://www.norm-phoenix.org/Devices/...rosstaping.asp Based on your description of how much skin you currently have, it should provide enough tension for a while - even if you might not feel much when taped. Eventually you'll find that it provides less tension as you grow more skin, and you may want to consider switching to other methods. For now, just find some tape and see how it goes!
