Pregnant wife!

Hey all, Just thought I'd let you all know that my wife is pregnant (again) for the 2nd time!

we already have a 4 1/2 year old INTACT son, so we're not too worried about if it's another boy or a girl.

Obviously if it's another boy it will also be remaining intact.

Anyway, just thought I'd share the good news.

Just thought I'd update you all with my wife's pregnancy.
Yesterday she had her 12 week ultrasound (sonogram)... It appears a little too early to say what the sex is (still a little ambiguous) but I am pleased to report the following:

The foetus is 6.35cm long, exactly 13 weeks old today (Oct 31 2008), has a strong heartbeat, and appears to be fine. The sonographer did the nuchal fold test (neck measurement for down's syndrome) and it appears to be well within normal. (we had to have this done as my wife is now 35 years old, and the risk of downs increases after about 30).

Anyway, she is due for another scan in 8 weeks time, and we should know by then what the sex is. I will re-post here when we have the results.

Thankyou all for your kind thoughts and best wishes. Even though I don't know most of you, you guys have become like a second family to me. Thanks for everything.
