Hey.
When I'm flacid, I can pull up enough skin to just cover the corona part of the glands. When erect I can pull no skin bar a few mm's. How on earth am I meant to restore using a tugger if every time I get an erection the thing flies off cause the skin tension becomes too tight? In Ron's demonstration videos, he has a restored foreskin when putting on the product. All the products and diagrams on the net show these guys that can pull like an inch of skin over their glans then they lock that in place for the stretch. Isn't that kinda silly when you have people like me that have limited excess skin?? It feels like I've got no chance ![]() I wouldnt mind some wise words from Ron here. Thanks a lot guys. |

When I started I had about as much skin as you describe. I ordered a TLC-X my first week of restoration. No way would it fit.
If I pulled all my skin, I could put it on, but I had hairy skin sticking out of the device. That is why I started manual tugging. I do the second method at this site. I use method 2 about 1 to 2 hours a day - when I wake up in the morning, when I shower, every time I go to the bathroom, and whenever I have nothing better to do with my hands. The nice thing about manual tugging is that you don't have to buy anything and it really does not take that much effort. I could comfortably wear the TLC-X after about a month or 6 weeks of manual tugging. If you are interested, you may want to check out the Coverage Index website to see where you fit in and what it can look like at various stages of restoration.

If you can force skin over the glans while flaccid (by nudging the glans back as needed) then you can use a tapeless device while flaccid. I would suggest that while your skin is still very tight that a tape method could be used for nighttime (when spontaneous erections would be expected).

If you're just starting off - and tight - (as I am) your probably best off with the canister method. Ron's site has the film canister, tape, and elastic strap, and is convienient.
I'm in my third month canister tugging, I do it 5x a week during the daytime, and leave nites & weekends for resting. Nighttime tugging is problematic with the canister due to erections, so I just avoid tugging at nite. At first tugging was very uncomfortable, but a few weeks both me and my penis are used to it and now its just part of my normal daily routine. I tape up in the AM before work, and remove it at night just before I head to the gym. Definately seeing results, but I still have a long way to go. I now have skin bunching up behind the glans when flaccid, and when erect I don't have that "overblown ballon" discomfort, and even have a small amount of slack skin. |

Thanks a lot. Looks like I'll need to go for some other methods till I'm not so tight.

I was not as tight as you described, but I started off with tape for the 1st month and then did as Ron had said about nudging the glans back inside and was able to use the TLC-x. I have noticed, now being at my 5 month mark, that the more skin I have grown, the easier it is to apply the TLC-x (actually now with a PX-9 and with the spring inside) as well as being able to use it for longer periods of time - meaning a more comfortable application. So, I would say that it is possible to use as Ron said, even with little movement, but don't get discouraged if it isn't the easiest to apply, it gets better with the more skin you grow.
Also, if you want you can try the other methods, such as T-tape, cansiter, and/or manual tugging until you can comfortably apply the TLC. Hope that helps. |

It may have something to do with how wide the base of the tugger is itself. Maybe that compresses my peripheral veins or something. I figured it would just be healthier to stop until I got more slack with other methods. I'm happy with my canister, though. I just found it odd that I can force glans coverage but not wear the tugger, but there is very little actual shaft skin, so I think that's part of it. Even when flaccid I have scrotal skin coming up at the bottom 1/8th of the shaft. I've also noticed that I have just a few (4 or 5 in length) millimeters of shaft skin on the underside. Maybe I had a very long frenulum or something and the bastard wanted to get it all. Maybe my parents took me back and said "he doesn't look enough like his dad". I don't know. I got quite a hackjob, though. |
