We all need to contribute I hope it is legitimate though... I'm always wary.

I'm going to try to send an email to Stephen Colbert ("The Colbert Report") and ask him to match contributions with Ben Affleck (who also HATES circumcision, including his own) and Howard Stern (who also HATES circumcision, including his own). Maybe each one 1/3 of a million! Haha... we'll see if it works.

I think if enough of us sent phsycal mail to Colbert and The Daily Show they might do a story on it. Why not? They love dick jokes.

But this is no joke. The science is looking more promising every day. I've personally met with Lorenzo who organized the charity and he seems very sincere.

The good: after a LONG time of planning, and hoping, and struggling, and working, and all that good stuff, this thread has finally actually produced, in reality, what it started out only talking about in theory: a charity, a trial (potential) to really do this!

The bad: There is no bad. This is a great day for us all!

The ugly: We need donations to make this happen! So come on guys, everyone who posted on this thread, everyone who was interested in this, everyone who was even curious, everyone who cares about genital integrity, everyone who wants to help the present and future helpless victims of this despicable practice, donate. Just donate, something, anything. Whatever you can afford. Even if the amount is very small. We need $10,000 to make this happen. If just 10 people could donate $1000 each, we'd be at our goal. So come on, everyone, donate, and go out and encourage others to donate too!

Just wondering, if the trial happens, and is successful what is the next step, and the path to commercial available therapy? Is there attract commercial interests who are willing to invest in the trials, instead of relying solely on donations?
