I just got the tugger in yesterday and I'm trying out different ways to use it. I don't see much information about putting it around the waist and I would like to know the many ways it could be done. I tugged over the shoulder last night and at first I had some pains, but I fixed it by adjusting it up a bit. Everything is good right now and I have it running down my leg at this time with now pain but I do fill a bit of pull at the top of the shaft. Any information about different methods would be great. Also, any tips on getting the best out of the tugger would be great as well.
Thanks ![]() |

I don't think there is enough distance between the waist and the end of a stretched cock to make the "around the waist" method very practical for Tugging, which is why you probably haven't seen much discussion of it.
I use the "around the knee" or "over the shoulder" method which provides enough distance between the Tugged cock and end of the strap to allow "proper" adjustment (read as: WITHOUT pain) of the strap tension. Regarding, the "around the knee" method, some people suggest that you alternate between the left and right leg to keep the growth "even," but, in my experience using "around the knee" Tugging for many years on both the left and right leg, it really doesn't matter as long as you've evenly distributed the foreskin under the Tugger cap. I can get much more tension via the "over the shoulder" method, but I generally find the "around the knee" method more comfortable and easier to remove if it becomes uncomfortable. So, I tend to use the "around the knee" method more than "over the shoulder." Bottom line: Just use whichever method that feels best to you and that is most suitable to your lifestyle. ![]() |

Hi,
I wish I understood tugging around the waist. It doesn't work for me. My hip bone immediately knocks the retaining cone loose. Some guys here do it. Some guys make a comfort loop out of something like a bandana and attach the other end of the strap to loop, while the loop is draped around the base of the penis. -Ron |

Around the waist tugging is so easy, as the pull is more constant it is hardly noticeable and you do not have any problems from walking like rubbing or the alternate high and low tension. Just to the left some days and the right others.
At night when tugging it is always upwards though to accommodate any erections. |

Thanks guys. I looked around and found a way to pull form the side in this post I have it this way right now and I have to say it's not to bad I fell a bit of pull but it's not painful at all. At first I think I had it on with to much tug and I took the cone off and the skin was a bit puffy. I think I have mad the right adjustments for future tugging. The forums have bee a great help with finding a grove with the tugger.

I alternate between downward tugging at the knee and around the waist. To acomplish the latter, I use a properly sized modified adult jock strap. First use a razor blade to cut the stitches from where the support straps attach to the pouch. Next remove the knit pouch and one end of the support strap away from where it attaches to the waistband.
This should leave you with an intact waistband and a dangling strap. Put the waist band on and tie a miniature carabiner hook to the end of the strap. hook on to your TLC and adjust the waist band to the right or left to put tension on your TLC. You can adjust the length of the strap to your comfort level by trimming it down to size as necessary. Once that is achieved unknot the hook from the strap and stitch it permanently in place to the end of the strap. Easy on/off, instant secure connection, Adjust as necessary by sliding the waistband around your middle to set the proper level of tension and personal comfort and you are good to go. The benefit I have gained from around the waist tugging is that it provides constant force and stays put far longer on average than a leg strap will allow. It also allows you to instantly redirect the direction of tug from the right to the left should you desire to moderate, and can be worn under shorts in warmer weather. For tugging from the knee I've modified a youth jock strap the same way. Then sized it to the leg by folding over and stitching down as much waistband as necessary to keep it from slipping over the knee from below. Attach a small carabiner hook to the dangling strap end and custom trim and secure the hook to provide the correct amount of tension. Benefit this way is that if the tugger comes loose from your foreskin the strap should still be short enough to fall well above the hem of your trousers. Just for insurance though, I use an additional safety line tied at one end to the TLC and a small loop at the other that slips over a fly closing button on my trousers that ensures all will be kept contained. That way when you have to releive yourself you can unhook from the tugging strap remove your TLC and the safety will allow it to dangle within easy reach and keep your cone from getting away until you have it reapplied it to your foreskin and hooked back up to your tugging strap. When I'm in a hurry to get going in the morning these home-made instant on and connect tugging aids sure save a lot of time. The wider knit waist band stays cool, comfortable on the waist or leg and everything can just be thrown into the washer for easy cleaning. |

The image shows the "around the waist" tugging arrangement that I use. It is shown here with a T-tape but is similar with the TLC tugger. I am now CI 7 or 8 and the TLC tugger is pretty close to the pelvis and can easily get knocked off during overnight tossing and turning.
The tugging philosophy is to have as long a length of elastic strap as is possible. This means that small changes in body geometry lead to small changes in strap length and, therefore, to small changes in tension. Overnight tension s.jpg

^^ knocked off during overnight tossing ^^
I have good success tugging in bed. I sleep on my back. To help keep me from flopping around, I put a pillow under me knees. Also makes my lower back feel great. Cheers, -Ron |
