I ask this question out of pure curiosity:
How many of you would want a foreskin transplant from another man that chose to have a circumcision? This assumes, of course, that the procedure is even possible. There would be a few pros and cons to this: Possible Pros:
Possible Cons:
As far as my research of the medical literature, this has not been done. I'm not sure if it's because this is not possible or no one is willing to try. |

It's not very viable because of the rejection problem.
People who get organ transplants therefore have to take powerful immunosuppressant medication to keep their bodies from attacking the donor tissues, but also keeping their cells from fighting infection. On top of that, even with the drugs, rejection can still occur if the donor isn't a good enough match. This is why people get transplants from family members when possible. A fully functioning foreskin would be nice, but risking an unprecedented complicated procedure that could have gnarly aesthetic results, and having to spend the rest of my life in what is essentially chemically-induced AIDS, blows the doors off of that option in my opinion. Now, if they could clone me a foreskin from my own cells, or even grow me a new penis for that matter, I'd be more willing to try it. I'm still apprehensive about people getting anywhere near my junk with scalpels again, but I would love to be whole. Unfortunately medical science isn't that good yet. I wish I could magically regenerate. EDIT: Oh sorry, I missed the part where you mentioned anti-rejection medication. Didn't mean to be redundant. That stuff is really nasty, though. As advanced as medicine has gotten, transplant patients can have life expectancies anywhere from 8-20 years depending on the tissues received, just because of the colossal risk of infection that comes with anti-rejection drugs. |

Absolutely not. I will stretch and tug and make the most of what I have. When I get more, coverage will be more reliable.I am sitting in this chair,at this computer, with near complete coverage. ( No thank you) ,( I will not wear another mans foreskin). I have what is acting as a foreskin, atleast while I sit.(Hey, its a start).

I had to go with No, non-surgical...
Immediately after voting, i realized that i first should have asked if you meant that option 3 was absolutely guaranteed. Still, it is impossible to guarantee such a thing. Therefore, with the risks still involved in such a procedure today, I have to decline. |

No, not for me.
I couldn't let anyone near my penis again with a sharp object. Anyway, I'm now at about CI 7 or 8, full flaccid coverage and highly realistic.

I would go with option 3 (yes if it would function perfectly), but only if there is no anti-rejection medication I'd have to constantly take, if the procedure had a 95% success rate or greater, and if the donor was an individual who willingly underwent the procedure (and NOT if it was taken from a corpse!).
As I think about it though, it really would be a lot to think about. Though I would be getting structures back, they wouldn't really be MINE.. they would have been meant for someone else... but that someone didn't want them. It's a lot to think about. |

I'm hoping that with stem cell research, eentually doctors will be able to shoot some stem cells into your dick and they will somehow know that you don't have a frenulum and foreskin, and it'll magically grow back on its own.
Sure would be nice! ![]() |

I'm obsessed by the idea that plalstic surgeons one day will be able to design perfect foreskins or could innervate restored foreskins with nerv-endings. This idea, that I would have a normal functional foreskin is an obsessive thought of mine every day. But I'm afraid that no scientists conduct research on this.
